 to undertake a variety of projects across the region.
 
 
 You will report to the

 .
 
 
 
 Your responsibilities include:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Preparation of all design stages of road geometry, signing and marking, ancillary works of major urban and inter-urban road projects, incorporating tunnels, sophisticated grade separation interchanges, and service roads, investigation of alternatives, route selection and preparation of the main items of bill quantities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assigning work to junior engineers, supervising work, acquiring Road Design approvals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordination with local authorities for Road geometry, corridor approvals and NOCs through Common NOC System and respective authorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the submission, discussion and follow up with local authorities for approvals and permits in coordination with the local authority Engineer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work coactively with the design team, collaborate closely with sub-consultants and liaising with clients ensuring their satisfaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for acquiring Road Design approvals, work closely with TIS consultant in obtaining approval from the concerned authorities.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 To be successful in this role, you will posses:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 10 years&rsquo; experience in similar field with proven track records in road design including at least 5 years&rsquo; current Qatar/Middle East experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering. Master&rsquo;s degree would be an added advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge with the local authority procedure, standards and regulations in Qatar is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in Civil 3D and BIM Modelling.
 </li>
 <li>
 MMUP Registration is mandatory, or ability to obtain within 6 months of joining.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conversant with the QHDM and other local authority approval procedure related to road design.
 </li>
 <li>
 Road Safety Audit Certificates would be an added advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Inter Discipline coordination.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiar with the local authority procedure, standards and regulations in Qatar

 Experienced in authority NOC/approval/permit procedure.

 The Roads Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed designs for road and highway projects in accordance with Oman standards and international guidelines. The role involves developing geometric designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing technical documentation, and supporting project delivery through all design stages.  Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Roads / OpenRoads, and related software.

 Solid knowledge of geometric design principles, pavement design, drainage basics, and traffic engineering fundamentals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong technical documentation and report‑writing skills.
 </li>

 GCC experience and a valid driving license are advantageous.
