Job Description:</b> Trash Taxi of Georgia is looking for safety conscious, courteous and experienced professional Container Truck and Roll-Off swing driver to join our family waste hauling business out of our location in Acworth, GA.<br>

<p><b>I. Job Summary</b></p><p>
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on swing routes.</p><p>
</p><p><b>II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><p>
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>
Operates vehicle in accordance with the Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state, and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.</li><li>
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.</li><li>
Immediately report any unsafe situations or service calls to Dispatch or Manager before attempting service.</li><li>
Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by the Manager.</li><li>
Works closely with leadership to improve route efficiencies and identify problems or unsafe accounts.</li><li>
Performs all duties as scheduled by Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.</li><li>
Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Manager.</li><li>
All other duties assigned. Like sticker residential containers or helping with some residential needs.</li><li>
May dump frontload or other trucks</li><li>

II. Minimum Job Requirements</b></p><ul><li>
At least 25 years of age or older</li><li>
Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement</li><li>
Legally eligible to work in the United States</li><li>
Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.</li><li>
At least 3 years of previous experience operating a Roll Off vehicle requiring a CDL within the past 7 years.</li><li>
Clean driving record</li><li>
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.</li><li>
Successfully passed pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check and Department of Transportation Physical.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

<div><p>The <b>Roll-Off Driver</b> is responsible for servicing customer accounts dispatched to him/her throughout the day. The driver will collect and haul waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant as directed by dispatch.

Operations Supervisor</p><br>

Provide, replace and remove roll-off containers and compactors for customers and dump materials at a disposal site or recycling center.</li><li>
Complete work assignments in a safe and efficient manner to avoid damage and accidents whenever possible.</li><li>
Operates vehicle in accordance with Lakeshore Waste Services safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.</li><li>
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)</li><li>
Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service-related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch</li><li>
Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by LRS or directed by the Route Manager.</li><li>
Works closely with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.</li><li>
Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.</li><li>
Notifies Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, streets, alleyways or potential safety hazards.</li><li>
Communicates customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager</li><li>
Maintain and update driver log sheets throughout the day.</li><li>
Communicate professionally with customers.</li><li>
Keep commercial vehicle clean and free of trash/debris.</li><li>
Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.</li><li>
Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>
Must have at least a valid Class B CDL</li><li>
Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.</li><li>
Must not have any DUI&rsquo;s or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.</li><li>
Must not have any license suspensions within the last 2 years.</li><li>
No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years</li><li>
Must successfully complete pre-employment testing</li><li>
