JOB SUMMARY

Provide service of high-quality meals and facilitation of a gracious environment. This entails; accurate communication and order taking, properly relaying meal orders to back of the house staff. Offer exceptional customer service, as part of all interactions with our cherished residents.

POSITION OVERVIEW
<ul>
<li>Be present in dining room for full meal service.</li>
<li>Assist special functions as scheduled.</li>
<li>Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection free environment at all times.</li>
<li>Oversight of bistro areas as directed &ndash; food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, make popcorn, etc.</li>
<li>Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.</li>
<li>Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.</li>
<li>Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold.</li>
<li>As directed, participate in the Quality Assurance Committee.</li>
<li>Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.</li>
<li>Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>

<li>Experience: Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred, but not required.</li>
