This role is required to provide hands on technical assistance in the repair and maintenance of various equipment in the workshop or at the customer sites.  Job Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Overhaul and repair of Various type of pumps,gear boxes, compressors,turbines and associated other equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comply with workshop procedures whilst ensuring all associated documentation is accurately completed e.g. stripping / build reports and work packs, following processes and actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Competent in the use of all precision measuring and dynamic balancing equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Duty of care in all HSE and following Quality procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implementing instructions as recommended from engineering / supervision.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with Workshop Supervisor to ensure accurate and on time completion of equipment repair and completing strip down reports, assembly rebuild records, and test requirements to meet departmental daily/ weekly work schedule.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all equipment in the fitting area is maintained to a high standard where appropriate liaising with supervisor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in overhauls turbines, pumps, valves, diesel engines, compressors and other similar mechanical equipment. Includes dismantling, repairing, reassembling and testing such equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in manufacturing parts for equipment under repair. Including marking, drilling and machining in the workshop as necessary.
 </li>

 General housekeeping and cleaning of area of working.
 </li>

 Quality Control &amp; Inspection

 Solid knowledge of dimensional checks and proficiency in using precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, vernier callipers, dial indicators).

 Mechanical Assembly &amp; Disassembly Expertise:

 Demonstrated ability to independently disassemble, inspect, and reassemble the following rotating equipment: - Booster pumps - Vertical and Fire Pumps - Boiler feedwater pumps - Chemical/multi-stage pumps - Centrifugal compressors - Reciprocating compressors - Gearboxes - Shaft Alignment Capabilities:

 Experience

 Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the rotating equipment maintenance or repair field.

 Proven experience working in oil and gas environments, with a strong understanding of industry-specific safety and operational standards.
 </li>

 Basic knowledge of API standards related to rotating machinery (such as pumps, compressors, turbines), with the ability to interpret and apply these standards in workshop and field operations.
