The Router is responsible for routing deliveries/pickups (returns) and for calling and setting up appointments for the warehouse deliveries. 
 
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 11am-9pm
 
Salary: $54,600 - $68,250
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
Use the routing software (Roadnet) to schedule daily deliveries and pickups that meet service and efficiency standards.<ul><li>
Maximize both the number of stops and cases for the best optimum route.</li><li>
Re-key and organize re-ships.</li><li>
Keep management informed of any issues surrounding Roadnet software; communicate with the technical support department of Roadnet; Update Roadnet data, geo-code map, account master (new accounts).</li><li>
Schedule appointment times for some store deliveries.</li><li>
Change demand order type in operations AX system and route.</li></ul>
 Manage the Drivers, Helpers, and Casual employees.<ul><li>
Pick up, sort, and distribute invoices/scan sheets.</li><li>
Print and distribute driver and management manifest.</li></ul>
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder&rsquo;s supervisor, may also be required.
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in related area</li><li>
Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software</li><li>
Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills</li><li>
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines</li><li>
Analytic and Reporting skills</li><li>
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment</li><li>
Routing or Operations software system skills</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Experience with Roadnet Routing</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone</li></ul>

Summary:
As the Route Delivery Driver, you will service customers by thoroughly understanding and providing accurate product and pricing information, taking orders, and ensuring product is delivered in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for growing and building sales with both new and existing accounts, and providing premier service to each customer, every delivery.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Understand the process of picking and packing orders</li><li>
Knowledge of and adherence to all company, state and federal rules, regulations, policies and procedures</li><li>
Ensure goods are loaded into trucks in a safe and logical order communicate needed changes to supervisor/router/manager</li><li>
Ensure the load is properly secured at all times</li><li>
Verify order to ensure correct products loaded, and delivered</li><li>
Deliver orders to customers as routed/scheduled. Communicate any needed routing changes to supervisor/router/manager</li><li>
Responsible for handling merchandise in a safe and efficient manner</li><li>
Unload products from delivery truck and place product as the customer directs</li><li>
Provide efficient, accurate and productive service to the customer at all times</li><li>
Ensure all necessary delivery paperwork is completed accurately and in full. Complete credit/debit documentation accurately</li><li>
Return all shipping documents, return product and credit documentation to designated area on completion of deliveries</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to manager</li><li>
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company-customer relationship as it applies to the scope of the job function.</li><li>
Work in tandem with assigned route/territory sales rep(s) in developing strategy for increased sales</li><li>
Develop new customers through personal sales calls</li><li>
Generate own leads, as well as excellent follow-up on company furnished accounts</li><li>
Initiate and control sales processes with new clients</li><li>
Provide guidance, assistance and service to customers</li><li>
Sell products at maximum profit margin with consideration given to current market pressures</li><li>
Utilize negotiation skills and apply established company pricing standards</li><li>
Create, maintain and execute a successful territory sales plan</li><li>
Attend and actively participate in all sales meetings</li><li>
Communicate and support administrative personnel in keeping customers within credit terms</li><li>
Understand and positively communicate all company policies and procedures</li><li>
Monitor sales volumes, distribution margins and related measurements (plan vs. actual)</li><li>
Report variances with corrective actions to the Sales Manager /Supervisor once per period</li><li>
Utilize order and pricing guides; prepare quotes</li><li>
Support daily push and extra value items</li><li>
Maintain working knowledge of company product lines and services to enhance sales efforts and increase sales volumes with both existing and new customers.</li><li>
Identify opportunities for line-item growth and communicate to sales reps. This will include information on competitive activity, distribution of Point of Sale (POS) material as required</li><li>
Address and/or communicate customer issues and requests in a timely manner to the appropriate individuals to facilitate resolution</li><li>
Perform all other duties, as may be assigned</li></ul>
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED.</li><li>
A minimum of one year of related experience in delivery and sales of perishable food products.</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL)</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>
Must be able to obtain minimum class B CDL within 6 months of hire.</li></ul>
Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00 hourly
