The OSH Manager will be responsible for maintaining effective operation and management of KEO&rsquo;s Safety Management System on our project. Providing HSE advice and information to KEO staff and contractors to raise the standards of Health and Safety on site.</div><div></div><div><br>

<p>The Regional Safety &amp; Health Manager will work with the Global Practice Manager, Corporate Safety, Regional Office Manager and other Regional Safety Managers to provide leadership, direction and ensure compliance with Burns &amp; McDonnell's programs and policies on all Safety and Health matters for assigned region.</p>
<ul><li>Propose and manage corporate and project Safety &amp; Health initiatives in order to ensure a safe, healthy, and incident-free workplace.</li>
<li>Manage safety oversight for engineering, architecture, construction and other projects.</li>
<li>Develop and implement safety programs and policies consistent with Burns &amp; McDonnell's corporate standards.</li>
<li>Manage the Task Safety Observation initiative.</li>
<li>Manage the process of safety audits, site safety inspections and work observations including project owner and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Develop and perform site safety orientations.</li>
<li>Review and present in project site safety meetings.</li>
<li>Analyze and report monthly safety statistics.</li>
<li>Provide input to the safety section of monthly progress reports.</li>
<li>Interpret and enforce OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.</li>
<li>Oversee health and safety training including HAZWOPER and 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Training.</li>
<li>Perform incident investigations, generate appropriate reports and provide necessary follow-up.</li>
<li>Analyze completed incident investigations to identify causes and develop and implement corrective actions.</li>
<li>Ensure implementation of and compliance with Burns &amp; McDonnell Safety Program.</li>
<li>Recommend and develop safety training topics.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Complies with all policies and standards.</li>
</ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management and 7 years of experience in a construction field environment</li>
<li>Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.</li>
<li>Experience must include field experience on transmission, energy, or heavy industrial construction projects.</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of Occupational Safety &amp; Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and other relevant regulations and construction safety standards.</li>
<li>This position requires driving to various locations</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills.</li>
