Job Description 
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Retail Sales Analytics Manager to join our team and drive impactful, data-informed decision making across the Retail business. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional leaders including Product Management, Sales, Finance, IT/Business Intelligence, Executive leadership and Revenue Growth Management to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that influence strategy and unlock growth opportunities. 
 
This role goes beyond reporting to focus on storytelling through data, connecting multiple data resources (POS, shipment forecast and market data) to develop actionable insights and recommendations. You will play a critical role in shaping business direction by identifying trends, uncovering opportunities, and delivering executive-ready narratives that support planning forecasting and performance optimization. 
 
The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of analytical rigor and business acumen, with the ability to synthesize data into meaningful stories, influence stakeholders and operate independently in a highly collaborative environment.
Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid environment working out of our HQ location in Deerfield, IL. Remote days are Monday and Friday. 
DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>

Qualifications 
KEY COMPETENCIES &amp; REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in economics, Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is required</li><li>
5+ years of experience in a role using forecasting, point of sale, or financial data, and related analytics required.</li><li>
3+ years of proven experience delivering recommendations grounded in data and business strategies using data and insights to influence stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leadership</li><li>
Industry experience and understanding of the retail and e-commerce business.</li><li>
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.</li><li>
Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools</li><li>

Responsibilities</h2>
The Marketing Analytics Manager is a program leader, people manager, and hands-on analyst who sets direction, develops talent, and delivers high impact insights. Key areas of ownership include:
1) Marketing Measurement &amp; Analytics<ul><li>
Serve as the analytics lead for paid search, paid media, SEO, and growth marketing.</li><li>
Own the end-to-end measurement strategy across paid and organic channels.</li><li>
Establish best fit approaches for measuring and monitoring channel performance.</li><li>
Lead development of scalable, accurate, and executive-ready reporting and dashboards.
</li><li>Perform deep-dive and ad-hoc analysis to answer complex questions and identify growth opportunities.</li></ul>
2) Cross-Functional Partnership<ul><li>
Act as a trusted advisor to marketing and business leaders, translating data into strategic recommendations.
</li><li>Partner closely with data science, engineering, and marketing leadership to align priorities.
</li><li>Influence product, marketing, and analytics roadmaps through insight-driven storytelling.</li></ul>
3) Team Leadership &amp; Development<ul><li>
Manage and mentor a team of five marketing analysts.</li><li>
Set clear goals, prioritize workloads, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery.</li><li>
Coach analysts on technical skills, business context, and stakeholder communication.</li><li>
Support career growth through feedback, development plans, and performance management.</li></ul>
4) Technical &amp; Analytical Execution<ul><li>
Oversee analytics workflows within a Google Cloud&ndash;based tech stack, including:</li><li>
Google Analytics 360</li><li>
Funnel.io (data ingestion and pipeline management)</li><li>
BigQuery (SQL analysis &amp; data modeling)</li><li>
Looker (semantic layer &amp; visualization)</li><li>
Establish and maintain best practices for SQL, data modeling, and reporting performance.</li><li>
Collaborate with data science on advanced analytics initiatives (e.g., experimentation, forecasting, incrementality, LTV, cohort analysis).</li><li>
Partner with Enterprise BI on data sourcing, modeling, and broader data platform initiatives.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Physical Requirements</h2><ul><li>
Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.</li><li>
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.</li><li>
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.</li><li>
Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.</li><li>
Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Remote Work Qualifications</h2><ul><li>
Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.</li><li>
Access to a home router and modem.</li><li>
A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).</li><li>
A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.</li><li>
The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.</li><li>

Experience</h2><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.</li><li>
5+ years hands-on in e-commerce marketing analytics, spanning at least 3 annual cycles.</li><li>
5+ years SQL at advanced level; working proficiency with Python or R preferred.</li><li>
5+ years developing BI reports and dashboards at an expert level (Looker and/or PowerBI preferred).</li><li>
4+ years managing marketing KPIs, attribution, incrementality, and customer journey.</li><li>
3+ years hands-on with GA360, Google Cloud (especially BigQuery), and large-scale (million+ record) marketing datasets.</li><li>
2+ years working with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads) and digital tracking best practices.</li><li>
2+ years implementing MMM, MTA, or similar attribution methodologies and successfully driving ad spend adjustments.</li><li>
1+ years as a people manager of a team of 3+, including development and performance management experience.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">

 Understanding of dealer operations, market cycles, and rural/agri-customer behaviors.
