<div>Our family‑owned scrap recycling company is seeking a Buyer Trainee to join our team. This is a hands‑on, paid training position designed for someone interested in a long‑term career in sales, and commodities.

The Buyer Trainee will spend approximately one year rotating through all areas of our operations, gaining a full understanding of how scrap material moves through our business&mdash;from scale and processing to logistics, pricing, and customer relationships. This training ensures you are fully prepared to succeed as a Buyer, responsible for purchasing scrap material and building strong supplier partnerships.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li> Prolonged periods standing.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Ability to maintain single task focus and situational awareness.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds at a time.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving the entire body. This will include balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to the elements of the environment: hot and cold, smells and noises unique to the plant.</li></ul>

This person will also need a valid driver's license and good driving record.</div>
