GENERAL PURPOSE:</b><br>

The Coordinator, HR Ops is responsible for processing associate employment records for the Ross buying offices, i.e. payroll process, associate change of status processing and new hire activations. The Coordinator is responsible for responding to associate questions &amp; requests (sent to our HR Connect mailbox) and related requests from the Buying Offices' associates providing guidance on policy interpretation, payroll and benefits and making to ensure urgent issues are triaged and escalated and SLAs are met. The Coordinator is responsible for updating and maintaining all employee data in the Peoplesoft and related systems for the 2,000 Buying Office associates, as well as generating reports and compiling payroll information for reporting purpose.<br>

The base pay range for this role is $22.00 - $28.00. The hourly rate listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.<br>

<b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</b><br>

Supports weekly orientation to new hires, ensures presentation deck is updated with current information.</li><li>
Sets up new hires in PeopleSoft, creates &amp; maintains associates' personnel files and ensures legal compliance via I9 checking and documenting process.</li><li>

<div><div><div>The Civilian Complaint Review Board (&ldquo;CCRB&rdquo;) is charged with investigating, mediating, and prosecuting complaints which members of the public file against New York City police officers alleging the use of force, abuse of authority, discourtesy, offensive language, untruthful statements made by officers, and racial profiling and biased policing. The Board consists of 15 members who are appointed by the Mayor, the City Council and Public Advocate or designated by the police commissioner. The Board is responsible for governing the agency. The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the agency. As the largest police oversight agency in the United States, the CCRB currently investigates approximately 4,500 complaints each year.<br>

The CCRB seeks an Executive Assistant to report directly to the Executive Director. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<br>

<ul><li>Managing confidential files, multiple schedules and calendars for the Executive Director, executive staff members, and board members</li><li>Handling confidential secretarial duties for the Executive Director and other executive staff.</li><li>Responding to all incoming requests for meetings in a professional manner</li><li>Prepare draft responses for the Executive Director&rsquo;s signature</li><li>Plan, arrange and participate in teleconferences and video-conferences</li><li>Scheduling board panels</li><li>Attending weekly internal Board Panel Meetings
</li><li>Sending email reminders of monthly board meetings</li><li>Corresponding with appropriate units regarding board meeting scheduling and attendance

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or

</div><div></div><div>We are seeking a Peer Specialist for our Manhattan NCS team, who will join a multidisciplinary team comprised of a Team Leader, Forensic Clinical Case Coordinator, Forensic Case Coordinator, Substance Use Specialist, Clinical Criminal Legal Specialist, and Program Assistant. The NCS team provides clinical case management and linkage to services for mental health and medical treatment. The Peer Specialist will use their unique perspective to provide peer support to participants within the framework of the core principles of recovery and self-determination. They will facilitate participants&rsquo; utilization of community treatment services and will provide support for participants in pursuing housing, benefits, employment, and vocational services. The Peer Specialist works individually with participants and may also facilitate groups using standard curriculum.<br>

</li><li>Participant or graduate of a recognized peer specialist training program, such as the Howie the Harp Peer Advocacy and Training Center Forensic Peer Specialist Program.
</li><li>Must have Peer Certification.
</li><li>Must be a mental health consumer with a history of involvement in the criminal legal system. As an individual in recovery from mental illness and substance use, the Peer must be willing to utilize their recovery experience to engage and support ATI participants.
</li><li>Strong knowledge of wellness, recovery, and self-help.
</li><li>Effective communication and written skills are essential.
</li>Proficiency with computers and databases.<br>
