The Opportunity:<div> 
As an Institutional Sales Relationship Manager within our Strategic Partnership group you will be an important asset to Fisher Investments's Institutional sales efforts across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Your efforts will include conducting research on our target markets, identifying and establishing contact with financial institutions, and developing relationships with prospective financial service partners. Reporting to our Head of Institutional Sales, you will partner with our Senior Sales Professionals to build relationships with financial service firms in emerging markets, meet face-to-face, and present to prospective partners. The Day-to-Day:</div><ul><li>

Ensure accurate, regularly updated information about prospect personnel, decision-making processes, and search activity is recorded in our Customer Relationship Management system</li><li>

Your Qualifications:<ul><li>

 We are seeking an ambitious individual to join the Global Network Banking, Bahrain team as a Relationship Manager to support the growing business and achieve divisional targets. The Relationship Management role provides dedicated relationship management to a portfolio of international corporate customers with accountability for sales, service, risk and operational delivery. This role will have internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders may include Sales, Product Development, Risk &amp; Compliance teams.
 
 
 
 In This Role, The Key Responsibilities Will Include

 Focus on growing the business sustainably, by identifying opportunities to expand a portfolio and broadening client relationships by leveraging HSBC's extensive network
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive revenue growth through understanding customer needs and by adopting a needs-based approach which engages clients and increases new business
 </li>
 <li>
 Effectively manage work and support resources to increase quality and time of client visits opportunities
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Group colleagues to deliver appropriate needs-based solutions for customers
 </li>
 <li>
 Build a strong understanding of the client's business and industry to promote insights, enrich client conversations and deliver fair outcomes
 </li>
 <li>
 Deepen understanding of the client through pro-active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews
 </li>
 <li>
 Confidently manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring, escalating and mitigating risk.

 Ensure adherence to all applicable operational risk HSBC Standards and policies, reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep abreast of developments, products and offerings from HSBC, competitors and market changes

 Ensure prompt escalation or sharing of relevant information relating to the client, so that members of the client coverage team can form and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the risks to HSBC by the client
 </li>
 <li>
 Relationship Management role holders will be required to acquire knowledge of a product area and in some geographies may need to hold specific certificates or need membership of a regulatory body.

 Drive new-to-bank acquisition, which will be a key measure of success

 To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong experience in banking experience as a Relationship Manager or Associate Relationship Manager managing/supporting international subsidiaries or MNCs. Experience in Bahrain market is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong credit and financial analytical skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Comprehensive knowledge of economic trends and regulatory environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of key international corridors driving growth, as well as focus sectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive knowledge and proven sales success with the Bank&rsquo;s products and services, or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth knowledge of regulations impacting the business and the lending and credit approval process
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of Investment Banking products, with the ability to identify opportunities.
 </li>
