With a workforce of over 5,000 professionals, A&amp;M is committed to innovation, operational excellence, and long-term client partnerships.JOB OVERVIEW:To supervise and coordinate the work of a team of scaffolders, ensuring scaffolding is erected, modified, and dismantled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.What you will do:Team Supervision &amp; Work Allocation<ul><li>Lead a team of scaffolders in erecting, altering, and dismantling scaffolding structures on construction sites.</li><li>Plan daily work activities, allocate tasks, and monitor team productivity and adherence to safety procedures.</li><li>Ensure the correct use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure the team follows HSE policies, site safety regulations, and risk assessments.</li><li>Inspect scaffolding regularly to ensure structural stability, load capacity, and compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to the HSE department and site management.</li></ul>Technical Execution<ul><li>Read and interpret scaffolding drawings, site plans, and method statements.</li><li>Ensure scaffolding is built according to design specifications and can safely support required loads.</li><li>Verify materials used are in good condition and suitable for the job.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades to plan scaffolding needs.</li><li>Ensure scaffolding is ready in line with construction schedules to avoid delays.</li><li>Keep clear records of scaffolding erected, inspected, and dismantled.</li></ul>Team Development &amp; Training<ul><li>Coach and mentor junior scaffolders to improve skill levels and safety awareness.</li><li>Assist in on-the-job training of new team members and ensure they understand company safety standards.</li></ul>What should you have: Skills &amp; Experience Required<ul><li>5:7 years of scaffolding experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.</li><li>UAE driving license.</li><li>Certified Scaffolding Supervisor or Scaffolder Level 3 (CITB/OSHA/Equivalent).</li><li>Good understanding of load calculations, scaffold design, and erection techniques.</li><li>Strong knowledge of UAE site safety regulations and international scaffolding standards.</li><li>Ability to lead, motivate, and monitor a team effectively.</li><li>Physically fit and capable of working at heights.</li></ul>If you feel that you can add value to us please share you cv with us: jobs AT aminternational DOT aeJob Type: Full-timeExperience:<ul><li>scaffolding: 5 years (Required)</li><li>scaffolder team leader: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>UAE driving license (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Abu Dhabi (Preferred)</li></ul>
