Job SummaryThe Section Head / Coordinator is responsible for supervising and managing the academic and administrative operations of the assigned section to ensure smooth functioning, discipline, effective curriculum implementation, and improved student performance in coordination with the Principal.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure proper implementation of curriculum and monitor syllabus coverage (class-wise &amp; section-wise).</li><li>Conduct classroom observations, provide feedback, and monitor teachers&rsquo; performance and progression.</li><li>Re-check copies, workbooks, diaries, and academic records.</li><li>Analyze exam results; maintain records of weak and high-performing students.</li><li>Conduct mentoring sessions for weak students and encourage consistent performance of top achievers.</li><li>Prepare PTM reports and maintain parent communication records.</li><li>Maintain discipline and ensure smooth daily academic operations.</li><li>Generate timetables, duty rosters, and arrange teacher substitutions.</li><li>Plan and supervise curricular and co-curricular activities.</li><li>Identify classroom and activity resource requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, circulars, and reports; submit regular updates to the Principal.</li><li>Follow up on parent complaints and attend meetings/training sessions.</li><li>Perform any other duties assigned by the Principal.</li></ul>Knowledge &amp; Skills Required<ul><li>Strong academic and administrative management skills.</li><li>Ability to supervise staff and manage operations independently.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.</li><li>Ability to handle confidential matters professionally.</li><li>Sound understanding of school policies and procedures.</li></ul>Qualification<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree from a recognized university.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>5&ndash;10 years of combined teaching and school administration experience, including roles as Section Head, Headmaster, Vice Principal, or Senior Teacher.</li><li>Strong academic, administrative, and leadership skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Master's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Principal/ Campus Head: 10 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

This opportunity entails being responsible for leading a professional or technical discipline section in the design, development and delivery of project tasks while managing scope, budget, and quality control. This position coordinates project priorities, staffing schedules, and staff assignments to ensure clients are provided the proper resources at the appropriate time. Responsible for technical coaching and mentoring and efficient, productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service. The number of employees directly and indirectly supervised by the Section Manager- Engineering is at least 5 but typically 7 - 10 or more.
What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Develops, monitors and manages the section's operating budget in support of the group or office operating budget and forecast updates.</li>
<li>Responsible for the management, growth and professional development of discipline-specific engineering section. Coordinates section activities establishes priorities and staff to jobs. Ensures staff development, mentoring and training needs are being met. Collaborates with other Sections and Departments within the office on work-sharing needs and opportunities.</li>
<li>Supports the implementation of the firm's strategic plan and HNTB's Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA) process on project pursuits in the Section and office, including development of Section-level strategic planning strategies.</li>
<li>Supports the implementation of the firm's contracting (SCA) process through project delivery and contracting activities including scope, work plan and fee reviews for all contracting activities impacting the Section.</li>
<li>Supports the implementation of the firm's project delivery (SDA) process including Work Planning, Monthly Project Reviews and other project performance methods to ensure quality work, on time, on schedule, to the client's satisfaction.</li>
<li>Assists in marketing responsibilities, including client discovery, proposal generation, interviews, and win-to-work activities</li>
<li>Maintains client contacts to ensure client satisfaction</li>
<li>Recruits, hires, develops and retains section staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.</li>
<li>Manages assigned project management activities (project scope, schedule, budget and quality management) and performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications and plan preparation.</li>
<li>Leads a team including the direct and indirect supervision of at least 5 but typically 7 - 10 or more employees.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>What You'll Need:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience.</li>
</ul>What We Prefer:
<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Engineering</li>
<li>10 years practical experience</li>
<li>2 years supervisory experience</li>
<li>Professional Engineer (PE) certification</li>
