Job Description
<br><br>
AUSAs in the Securities, Financial & Cyber Fraud Unit improve the quality of life for Massachusetts residents by prosecuting crimes that include securities, bank, and tax fraud, including insider-trading schemes; theft from government programs and private businesses; network intrusions, data theft, and other intellectual property crimes; and other white-collar offenses.

Qualifications
<br><br>
<b>Required qualifications:</b> Applicants must possess a J.D. degree, be an active member of the bar in good standing (in any jurisdiction), and have at least three years post-J.D. legal experience.
<br><br>
<b>Preferred qualifications:</b> At least five years of experience as an attorney, superior academic credentials, and excellent writing and oral advocacy skills. In court experience experience and substantive white-collar defense experience preferred.

Assistant United States Attorney's pay is administratively determined based, in part, on the number of years of professional attorney experience. The range of basic pay is $86,923 to $197,100.
