 This position performs the lead level of work involving the custody and care of patients at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center. Security Attendant III is differentiated from Security Attendant II in that the Security Attendant II is responsible for security work at full performance level, while Security Attendant III has lead responsibilities for the work of other Security Attendants.

 A Security Attendant Supervisor is the supervisory level of work involving the security and care of patients at Maryland Department of Health (MDH) facilities where care is provided to offenders, patients, or residents with behavioral health diagnoses who have been judged not criminally responsible for committing felonies; and to those who are too violent for a regular hospital or residential setting and who have been deemed dangerous to themselves or others. We are looking for someone to help maintain a comfortable and quiet atmosphere for our guests. The Property Attendant is not a security guard and prohibited from possessing a firearm or dangerous/deadly weapon while on InTown property. Job Responsibilities

<li>Patrol the property when the office is closed</li>
<li>Live on the property and be on-call between five and six days per week as jointly determined by the Regional Operations Manager and General Manager.</li>
<li>On-Call Schedule Mon-Sat. between the hours of 7:00 PM-7:00 AM and 7:00 AM Sunday-7:00 AM Monday.</li>
<li>Immediately report any safety or security issues to the General Manager or Regional Operations Manager and contact the local authorities/emergency service providers if warranted.</li>
<li>Respond and assist to minor maintenance issues, guest needs, complaints, and/or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, both in person and on the phone after office hours.</li>
<li>Obtain guest list on a nightly basis to ensure only authorized guests are allowed to access rooms and the property</li>
<li>Obtain a vacant room report on a nightly basis to ensure all vacant rooms are secured</li>
<li>Establish good communication and professional relationships with property guests</li>
<li>Complete three thorough inspection rounds of the property Monday through Saturday performed approximately at 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and after midnight</li>
<li>Complete six thorough inspection rounds of the property on Sunday that should be evenly spaced in between and performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM and one round after midnight.</li>

<li>Follow company procedure by verifying IDs to provide access to rooms for guests who become locked out.</li>

DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASKS/PURPOSE:

The Room Attendant counts and transports linens to and from guests&rsquo; rooms. He/She replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies in various rooms. The Room Attendant dusts furniture and equipment, polishes metalwork, washes windows, walls and doors, and empties waste baskets and ash trays. He/She vacuums carpets and upholstered furniture, and scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. The Room Attendant replaces light bulbs, and replenishes bathroom supplies. He/She transports trash to the waste disposal area. He/She may be required to move furniture, hang drapery, and roll carpet when necessary. Other duties may be required as directed by the manager or supervisor.
On a typical day, the Room Attendant performs the following duties:
1. Sorts, counts, folds, and transports linens to various site locations.
2. Makes beds in guest rooms.
3. Replenishes supplies (i.e. drinking glasses, writing materials, bathroom supplies, etc.).
4. Cleans rooms, kitchens, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms, landings, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
