<p>Security Dispatchers staff the Security Control Center (SCC) and are responsible for coordinating prompt and efficient prioritization and response to requests for security, internal emergency response, police, fire or emergency medical services. The Security Dispatcher has primary responsibility for receiving calls for emergency and non-emergency services and the initial deployment of responders. The Security Dispatcher must dispatch in a clear, concise and timely manner to provide efficient and diligent service utilizing professionalism and common sense.</p>
<p>Security Dispatchers maintain accurate and uniform documentation of all dispatched activity properly utilizing the Omnigo dispatch system and be familiar with the procedure for all other data recording and entry responsibilities assigned to the Security Control Center (SCC). Additionally, the Security Dispatcher maintains and retrieves records, files, and information for prompt dissemination to security officers and departmental personnel.</p>
<p>The Security Dispatcher is a non-supervisory position, but is directly responsible for work assignment, direction and delegation.</p>
<p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:</b></p>
<ul><li>Operates radios, telecommunications equipment, recording devices, computer terminals, and records management systems.</li>
<li>Be thoroughly familiar with the department&rsquo;s policy and procedure for using the telephone, radio, and other communications equipment.</li>
<li>Utilizes and maintains a solid working knowledge of procedures and policies.</li>

As a <b>Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher</b> in <b>Kahului, HI</b>, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you'll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You'll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they're needed most.</p>

What You'll Do:</b>
</p><ul><li>Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or passengers by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and emergency response activities for a government transportation location.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and public agencies as needed.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, checkpoints, and perimeter zones to help to deter prohibited activity and/or unauthorized access.</li>
<li>Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document entries and/or deliveries per post orders and applicable regulations.</li>

Minimum Requirements:</b>
</p><ul><li>Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.</li>
<li>Be at least 21+ years of age.</li>
<li>Customer service experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Alarm panel experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
