Allied Universal&reg; is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator. The Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator is staffed twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. The position monitors all security, communications and fire/life safety systems and is the liaison between all security departments. The Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator is directly responsible for the accurate documentation of routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities and maintains control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room. This position is responsible for competing task work orders for all maintenance needs reported. 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Monitor all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region via the provided monitoring systems</li>
<li>Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs. Monitors and responds to all security/life safety system alarms</li>

<li>Serve as the liaison between all departments and the security department</li>
<li>Handle (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information to Shift Supervisor, Account Manager, and Security Director</li>

<li>Accurately maintain control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room. Accurately logs all equipment and keys signed out and returned by security, parking, and shuttle bus staff</li>
<li>Complete &ldquo;task work orders&quot; for all reported maintenance needs</li>
<li>Inform (without delay) the Shift Supervisor / Account Manager of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems</li>
<li>Control and monitor the two-way communication systems</li>
<li>Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders</li>
<li>Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management</li>
<li>Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders</li></ul>
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.</li>

 Overview:
 
 
 
 Paramount&rsquo;s Global Security Operations Center was established in 2015 and is located on the Paramount Studio lot in Hollywood, California. The GSOC is a state-of-the-art facility that coordinates response to a variety of security and emergency situations that affect employees, productions, and guests worldwide. The decision to establish the GSOC was based on the need to enhance and coordinate security and emergency measures due to the changing global climate and the need to better ensure the safety and well-being of Paramount stakeholders. The GSOC is manned by two Global Security Operations Center Operators and supported by one GSOC Analyst 24/7/365.
 
 
 This position is responsible for assisting the GSOC Senior Analyst with the administration of 10 (plus) security systems in the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC); collecting, analyzing and preparing intelligence briefings; monitoring Paramount operations for threats and operational risks that could impact operations and responding to those threats using various security systems and work flows; and acting as the subject matter expert to GSOC staff (security Dispatchers) during emergency situations.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assists in the development of incident response workflows and business rules contained in Paramount&rsquo;s Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) solution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Acts as the subject matter expert in the GSOC during emergency situations to ensure the GSOC supports the incident in an effective and efficient manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists with maintaining operational risk monitoring tools to track threats and operational risks to Paramount operations, in support of Business Resiliency efforts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responds to various global incident alerts/threats, quickly assesses conditions and situations based on system information; makes notification decisions based on Paramount incident response workflows, activates and coordinates emergency response procedures, and maintains situational information and status of incident response actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supports GSOC operators (dispatchers) in performing their routine dispatching functions, as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collects analysis and prepares various intelligence briefings, including but not limited to daily briefs, travel briefs, white papers on emerging threats, etc.
 
 
 </li>

 Basic qualifications:

 A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Political Science, Emergency Management, or related discipline is preferred.

 Minimum 3+ years of experience with security systems is required.

 Experience writing technical business policies, procedures, and reports is required.

 Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

 Hiring Salary Range: $65,000.00 - 80,000.00.
 
 
 The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The Security Operations Center Analyst (SOCA) is an integral part of a team that monitors and manages client data and networks. In coordination with using security monitoring tools the individual provides constant vigilance against cyber incidents and system issues.

Job Description: Working within a 24&times;7 Security Operations Center (SOC). Primary Responsibilities include:

Review and analyze vulnerability assessments</li><li>
Review and analyze log correlation and SIEM events and alarms</li><li>
Create and escalate tickets</li><li>
Review system changes for policy and procedure compliance</li><li>
Participate in Incident Response team activities</li><li>

 &nbsp;for a client in McLean, VA. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the GSOC, ensuring 24/7 coverage and response capabilities. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of industry best practices as it relates to customer service, alarm response and video review, threat intelligence, travel safety and security, emergency management, and escalations. The GSOC Manager will lead a team of analysts and supervisors to maintain the highest standards of preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities across all regions. This position will act as a trusted and respected member of the GSOC during crisis scenarios.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Duties and Responsibilities

 Directs the team to promptly and effectively engage security incidents or emergencies, providing immediate support to physical security teams as needed, with escalations to stakeholders.

 Prepare, maintain, and present high level reports on security operations, incidents, alarms, deliverables, and trends to the leadership team for review and strategic decision-making.

 Conduct predictive and real-time analytical assessments to identify and manage security, safety, and product-related risks; issue real-time threat alerts to support informed decision-making and incident reduction.

 Monitor and track mission-critical operations and employee locations in real time, ensuring team safety and swift adaptation to evolving threats or logistical changes.

 Evaluate flight patterns, hotel locations, high-risk destinations, and transportation options to provide travelers with safer choices and risk-reduction strategies.

 Dispatch security officers, facilities, and on-site EMS personnel as required via telephone and/or radio during security or medical incidents.

 Respond, compile and report all information regarding thefts, alarms, accidents and other incidents that may occur during course of duty.

 Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), escalating threat detections of, while maintaining meticulous alarm tracking records.

 Escalate without delay, complaints, critical event information to shift supervisor, Site Ops Manager and the GSOC manager.

 Foster relationships with third-party security providers, law enforcement, and emergency services to enable coordinated crisis response.

 Provide limited access badge support which may include operating digital camera equipment, badge printer, coordination of badge activation and distribution of new and or replacement badges.
