No prior data center experience required. Ideal for candidates eager to learn data center O&amp;M, with 0&ndash;2 years in operations, maintenance, or customer service roles. Strong safety mindset and willingness to learn are the most important qualities.</p>

3&ndash;5 years of experience in Tier 2, 3, or 4 data centers or a technical facility maintenance role. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has a requirement for monitoring of a Nationwide Security Command Center and administering FDA Incident response system. The Transportation Management Center Operator performs full-performance level work in the Transportation Management Center. Under general supervision an employee in this classification works in an Intelligent Transportation Fusion Center. Work involves traffic systems control, incident/congestion management, and communications. Employees operate state-of-the-art computerized traffic management workstations designed to facilitate traffic flow and minimize congestion. Employees undergo training and are assigned progressively responsible duties in traffic detection monitoring, programming motorist information systems, assessing incident scenes, and operating radio communications systems.
