<div>The Security Officer is responsible for protecting customers, employees, and all assets of Riverside Casino and Golf Resort, while providing superior Guest Service. The Security Supervisor assists the Security Shift Manager when both are on duty by overseeing floor activity, by supervising Security staff on shift, and may schedule employees and assign tasks, as well as supervises shift in the Security Shift Manager&rsquo;s absence. In addition, this position assists in the handling of incidents and emergencies, summoning police/fire agencies as needed. The Security Supervisor can perform coaching and give disciplinary action as needed.

Provide exceptional Guest Service to all customers &amp; co-workers.</li><li>
Officer:</li><li>
Patrol property (casino, hotel, parking lot, and golf course) and ensure the safety of all employees and guests.

Perform First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed, and maintain certification in these areas when necessary.</li><li>
Conduct money transfers and table fills/credits, as well as monitor drops as needed.</li><li>

Works closely with other departments and maintain open communication with all employees.</li><li>
Supervisor:</li><li>
Leads subordinates to provide exceptional guest service to internal and external guests, plus provides that guest service as well.</li><li>

Manages shift to provide for a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and company assets in the absence of the shift manager (i.e. assigned days off, in training, planned PTO, call-offs, LOA, etc.)</li><li>
Directs staff and assists in the handling of incidents and emergencies.</li><li>

Follows all gaming regulations. Oversees required drops.</li><li>
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed, from daily activity logs to incident reports.</li><li>

Approves payroll in the Shift Manager&rsquo;s absence.</li><li>
Coordinates and/or facilitates training.</li><li>

Summary :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

</li><li>Required to conduct written Security Officer and Building Safety Audits as necessary including Mandatory Weekly/Monthly per shift accountability. All reports are to be given to the Security Director for final review and filing.
</li><li>Conduct several Daily Security Post Inspections throughout the course of your duties to ensure continuous compliance, Guard alertness, Reports, truck logs and yard checks including verification that Post equipment is functioning according to operational standards. You will provide a written report following any deficiencies.
</li><li>Interview Director level management including Associate co-workers such as Yard Goat Operators, Lead Floor Supervisors and GT Drivers periodically to ensure that our Posted Security Officers are regularly performing to standards. Any deficiencies will be reported and reflect immediate corrective action.
</li><li>Report any suspicious activity including any unethical behavior amongst co-workers, clients and contractors.
</li><li>Permits authorized persons to enter property.
</li><li>Registers at watch stations to record time of inspection trips.
</li><li>Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences for management.
</li><li>Regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic at plant entrance to maintain orderly flow.

May be required to work overtime as needed.
Education and/or Experience
High school education; two to five years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one year of Supervisory experience.

Overview
