The Senior Manager, Maintenance Service Contracts, is responsible for the oversight and administration of all service contracts supporting the Authority&rsquo;s nine operating facilities and Randall&rsquo;s Island Operations for services beyond the scope of in-house maintenance staff.
This position provides leadership and direction to a team of contract managers and contracted personnel while managing multiple large-scale, critical projects simultaneously.
The Senior Manager ensures strict compliance with contract provisions, procurement regulations, and financial procedures, while safeguarding uninterrupted facility operations.
The role requires expert judgment under pressure, the ability to balance multiple competing priorities, and 24/7 responsiveness to emergencies.
Success in this position depends on strong supervisory skills, technical expertise in contract administration, and the ability to drive performance and accountability across a diverse vendor and project portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in project management, Planning, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Must have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience administering or coordinating maintenance or construction contracts, or large-scale engineering projects.
At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience, including direct responsibility for staff development, workload management, and performance evaluations.

<div>Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities<ul><li>
All contract performance related activities , typically tied to a customer site. Perform in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests. 
Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project, and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising. Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial &amp; technical metrics specific to contract. Perform proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision &middot; Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts Function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters</li><li>
Presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB and SEB) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.</li><li>
Handles complex medium term project processes. Department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.</li><li>
Ihandles important business unit clients. Complex processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side .</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.</li><li>
Minimum of 10 years of experience in rotating equipment and field services</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years in Contract Performance Management (CPM).</li><li>
Previous experience in project management</li></ul>
