Primary Purpose of Position
The Senior Analyst, Credit Risk is responsible for a credit portfolio within the designated regions. This job is also responsible for assessing and analyzing retail power and gas credit issues for the retail supply business. As a member of the credit organization, this position will require an advanced understanding of the physical and financial products offered by the Company and the marketplace in order to properly assess and monitor counterparty credit/risk issues. Senior Analyst, Credit Risk

The Intern participates in a structured 10-week internship program designed to provide comprehensive exposure to banking operations and department-specific functions. The program consists of four weeks of foundational training in banking operations, followed by six weeks of focused experience within a designated department. Through hands-on involvement, cross-training, and guided learning, the intern will develop practical knowledge of community banking, banking processes, compliance standards, technology in banking, and organizational operations. This position will be onsite in our Fort Worth - Hulen location from June 1st to August 7th, 2026.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Weeks 1&ndash;4: Banking Operations Rotation 
During the first four weeks, the intern will gain foundational exposure to branch and call center operations. Responsibilities may include assisting with teller transactions, supporting the information counter, observing new account setup procedures, learning basic lending processes, understanding supervisory functions, and responding to incoming department calls. The intern will also complete assigned training modules and case studies while developing an understanding of TexasBank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Weeks 5&ndash;10: Credit Department
During the final six weeks, the intern will transition to the Credit Department. The Credit Analyst Intern supports the Commercial Credit team by assisting with financial spreading, data gathering, research, and credit memorandum preparation for commercial loan and annual review requests. This internship is designed to provide hands on exposure to commercial underwriting, credit policy, portfolio monitoring, and other operational areas of the bank.

 Job Purpose Summary
 
 
 
 The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the management of the process of credit approval on individual credit facility proposals for Corporate and Retail customers (only those retail proposals that fall outside applicable policy parameters), forwarded to them by the appropriate departments/ units. The incumbent will assess the quality of the credit exposure sought to be undertaken and adherence to established policies and procedures. The incumbent will constantly research and seek to apply best practices in credit risk, in accordance with Basel II and other relevant guidelines.
 
 
 Main Duties
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform activities within the assigned Credit Risk Strategy that reflects the Group&rsquo;s tolerance for risk and the level of profitability the Group expects to achieve for incurring various credit risks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the use of a standardized process for evaluating credit proposals ensuring that all approved credits are within QNB&rsquo;s Credit Risk Strategy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the SVP of Risk in creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department and monitor their achievement on periodic basis
 </li>
 <li>
 Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent and delegate authority to the respective staff and monitor same.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implements KPI&rsquo;s and best practices for role
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimize cost, avoid waste, and optimize benefits for the bank.
 </li>

 Demonstrate clear understanding of the important factors behind the bank's financial &amp; non-financial performance.

 Education/Skills
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 University graduate (Bachelor&rsquo;s degree) preferably with a Major in Finance, Banking, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration (related field of study), Masters preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional certification such as PRM, CPA, CFA is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sound typically a Minimum of 8 years&rsquo; experience in a major bank of which at least 2 years in bank in a supervisory capacity in risk function.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent oral and numerical and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Basel II Accord, with particular emphasis on credit-related issues and credit modelling methodologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent quantitative modelling, analytical, and research skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in working with large and complex data sets. Knowledge of financial markets and products.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in risk concepts, banking products/ operations/ systems, pertinent regulatory requirements, International Accounting Standards and related pronouncements.
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth understanding of credit risk methodologies (KMV, Credit / Metrics, etc.), interest rate modelling [short rate models, HJM, BGM, etc.], VAR, and/or other complex financial risk modelling highly desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adequate knowledge of IT systems/ applications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-motivated, eye for detail with ability to work with others and lead teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.

<div>Your responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform cash collection activities to ensure timely receipt of customer payments for the Middle East region and any other additional country
</li><li>Ensure the smooth invoicing process to 3 rd party customers according to Zatca requirements
</li><li>Perform the AR month-end close process in a timely manner for several databases and countries
</li><li>Maintain a clean debtor&rsquo;s ledger and reconcile customer payments to invoices

</li></ul>Experience and Skill Requirements :
<ul><li>The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant credit/collections experience
</li><li>Excellent command of English is mandatory
</li><li>Strong Interpersonal and communication skills are required
</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
</li><li>Experience in documentary credit is preferred
