 The Associate will play a critical role in managing the financial and operational performance of battery energy storage assets within the Energy Management team. This position is responsible for overseeing the Profit &amp; Loss (P&amp;L) of battery assets both company owned and those with utility dispatch rights, ensuring optimal market participation, accurate billing, and adherence to contractual obligations. The Associate will monitor market performance, analyze revenue streams, and develop strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. The Associate will assist with NYISO registration activities and maintain compliance items and operating parameters. The role monitors realtime performance, state of charge, efficiency, and dispatch quality to ensure reliable operations. The role produces clear, executiveready reporting and insights for senior management decisionmaking. This individual will define the end to end, including generation, transmission, distribution, and backup power strategy, for scaling and operating AWS&rsquo; diverse, low-cost energy supply. In this role, you will manage multiple, large-scale (100+ MW) and technically complex power infrastructure projects across multiple geographies by facilitating close collaboration between both internal and external stakeholders.
 
 
Within the overarching strategy, this individual must be resilient in exploring and discovering new supply opportunities (that delivery both near term capacity with an accelerated path to net-zero carbon supply), ultimately converting them into tactically sound and executable energy projects while working to reduce energy capital and operating expenses. Internally, responsibilities outside of implementing the defined strategy include reporting status, risks, mitigations and successes to C level and VP level leadership, as well as influencing multiple cross-functional partner teams in the overall data center capacity delivery business process. 
 
Externally, this role takes ownership of managing utility interactions, coordinating efforts between real estate, engineering and planning teams in site evaluation, project engineering, scheduling and budgeting, including influencing and contracting with the utility, EPC and/or Owner&rsquo;s Engineer to meet AWS&rsquo; needs. The individual will work in an integrated team to implement a strategy that meets and exceeds AWS&rsquo; energy program requirements while delivering projects on time, with tangible reliability and cost-saving results. 
 
The ideal candidate will possess a strong energy background and a proven track record of developing and delivering on innovative energy projects. Experience working with regulated electric utilities, especially those in WECC and PNW region, to develop, contract and deliver medium and high voltage power infrastructure, including related tariffs and supply agreements, is a must. 
 
In this role, you will negotiate and execute power supply contracts across AWS regions and create innovative supply structures that integrate our renewable energy portfolio and support the growth of clean energy via utility partnerships. The right candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the business, operations, and technical challenges, with the skill-set to drive tactical execution of project schedules, contracts, initiatives and team goals. <ul><li>Review project-specific Scope of Work and other relevant information and specifications for Project Mechanical Completion execution
</li><li>Request qualified Engineers and Supervisors to support Mechanical Completion execution
</li><li>Request adequate equipment, tools, and consumables to be used during Mechanical Completion activities
</li><li>Coordinate with the Fabrication Coordinator on schedules and potential cost impact
</li><li>Coordinate with HSE Officers on Task Risk Assessment implementation
</li><li>Request Manpower, materials, and procedures
</li><li>Prepare and identify Mechanical Completion Inspection and Test Records required in PIMS
</li><li>Supervise Mechanical Completion, discipline engineers
</li><li>Prepare execution plans and Mechanical Completion strategies
</li><li>Prepare general procedures for implementation of Mechanical Completion-related activities
</li><li>Allocate budget and estimated person-hours for Mechanical Completion-related activities

</li><li>Prepare Mechanical Completion Management System
</li><li>Support and disseminate Engineering policies and yard procedures and participate in any improvements
</li><li>Support Division Engineering by providing input to the bid and historical data from the projects

 <div>Essential Qualifications and Education:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering preferred
</li><li>8+ years of experience with Hookup and commissioning activities for the offshore O&amp;G industry with exposure to handling PIMS completion management system, punch list, preservation management, and handover process
</li><li>Hookup and commissioning activities with exposure in handling PIMS completion management system and coordination among various parties such as EPC, client, vendor, sub-cons, and Fabrication team to get system completions certificate and handover

Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>

Job Duties:<ul><li>
Create training and development plans, create training curriculum, and deliver training sessions for employees.</li><li>

Develop frontline employees by enhancing their skills, productivity, and quality.</li><li>
Provide improvement of employee performance/customer experience through current and future training programs, job/skills gap analysis, career path support, and information related to data/metrics/performance.</li><li>
Deploy a wide variety of training methods, including video, social media, e-learning, classroom, and other progressive options to provide an exceptional customer experience through the contact center.</li><li>
Participate in enterprise-wide projects to support the progressive improvements of people, processes, and technology within the contact center environment.</li><li>
Manage contact center resources and creating, organizing, and update these resources to ensure seamless operations.</li><li>
Conduct effective reviews of classroom training via student surveys and other measures of interaction performance.</li><li>
Provide opportunities for ongoing development of Contact Center employees.</li><li>

Experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator (or equivalent)</li></ul>
