We&rsquo;re a ServiceNow Consulting and Implementation (C&amp;I) Partner building a ServiceNow Practice, and we&rsquo;re looking for a visionary Senior Architect to help lead the way. In this role, you&rsquo;ll be more than a technical expert, you&rsquo;ll be a strategic partner. Day to day, you&rsquo;ll guide solution design, customization, and cross-module integration ensuring every implementation is scalable, compliant, and impactful. You&rsquo;ll also work closely with the Practice Director to shape our delivery model, mentor team members, and establish best practices that will fuel long-term success. Day-to-day responsibilities include:<ul><li>Serve as the technical authority for ServiceNow solutions focusing on federal business workflows.</li><li>Design, develop, and oversee custom applications and workflows spanning multiple modules.</li><li>Participate in strategic and technical discussions with clients and partners.</li><li>Define and enforce platform governance, standards, and best practices for customization, integration, and data security.</li><li>Ensure that custom solutions remain upgradeable and sustainable.</li><li>Collaborate with functional SMEs, business analysts, and developers to translate complex business rules into platform designs.</li><li>Integrate ServiceNow with external client systems.</li><li>Mentor developers and administrators to strengthen the OCT&rsquo;s custom development capabilities.</li><li>Oversee OCT&rsquo;s ServiceNow implementations.</li></ul>
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements<ul><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>5-7 years of ServiceNow platform experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation.</li><li>ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).</li><li>Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more domains.</li><li>Exposure to AI/ML features within ServiceNow (predictive intelligence, virtual agents, etc.).</li><li>Experience leveraging Integration Hub and Flow Designer for automation.</li><li>Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, workflows, scripting (JavaScript/Glide), and integrations.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.</li><li>Solid understanding of ITIL processes and how they map to ServiceNow.</li><li>Experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions, including integrations with external systems.</li><li>Strong knowledge of data models, security (roles, ACLs), and platform performance optimization.</li><li>Exposure to Agile/DevOps practices (e.g., ServiceNow CICD, update sets, automated testing).</li><li>Ability to establish platform governance frameworks, including design standards, technical debt management, and scalability practices.</li><li>Deep integration experience (REST, SOAP, SSO, LDAP, API gateways, cloud platforms).</li><li>Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, or other federal compliance frameworks.</li><li>Active Public Trust or Security Clearance eligibility</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>7+ years of ServiceNow experience, including multi-department or multi-instance architecture.</li><li>ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (or actively pursuing).</li><li>Proven track record leading large-scale ServiceNow transformations for enterprise clients.</li><li>Recognized thought leader internally: develops best practices, roadmaps, and strategic platform direction.</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement skills &mdash; able to influence executives and guide long-term platform adoption.</li><li>Experience mentoring junior ServiceNow admins/developers.</li><li>Existing Secret or Top-Secret clearance</li><li>This role is in the DC area with a hybrid work schedule in McLean, VA.</li></ul>
