</h2></div><div>The Senior HR Generalist will provide strategic and hands-on Human Resources support to the Eaton Horseheads facility by partnering with plant leadership and employees to strengthen organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and a positive labor environment. This role will ensure consistent application of HR policies, practices, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) across union and non-union populations while aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and Eaton values. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Employee Relations: Serve as a strategic HR partner to plant leadership on employee relations, performance management, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Interpret and administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement, including grievance management and arbitration preparation. Lead employee relations efforts such as investigations, conflict resolution, and leader coaching to mitigate risk. Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives, including surveys, action planning, recognition, and site-level programs. 
</li></ul><ul><li>Talent Management: Support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding in partnership with hiring managers to enhance quality of hire, retention, and time-to-fill. Coach supervisors and managers on leadership effectiveness, employee development, and performance management. 
</li></ul><ul><li>HR Operations: Oversee HR operational processes including timekeeping (Kronos), payroll coordination, job changes, wage administration, and leave management. Support continuous improvement initiatives through Eaton Business Excellence and other process improvement methodologies. Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and internal procedures.

 Employee Engagement &amp; Culture

 Partner with plant leadership to drive employee engagement, strengthen organizational culture, and support workforce retention.

 Serve as a visible and trusted HR presence across the facility, building strong relationships with employees at all levels.
 </li>

 Champion initiatives that enhance the employee experience while reinforcing accountability, performance, and company values.

 Identify engagement trends and opportunities and partner with leaders to implement meaningful improvements.

 Employee Relations

 <li>
 Serve as a primary resource for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and ensuring fair, consistent resolution of workplace issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, communication, and leadership effectiveness.
 </li>

 Partner with leaders to address attendance, conduct, and performance concerns while reinforcing accountability.

 Ensure consistent application of company policies, practices, and employment laws.

 Analyze trends in turnover, attendance, employee relations, and engagement to identify opportunities for improvement.

 Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on employee experience, workforce stability, and HR processes.

 Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Three or more years of HR experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
 </li>

 Ability to influence leaders and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

 Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.

 The Salary range for this position is $63,100.00-$79,500.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate&rsquo;s experience, their education, and the work location.
