<p><b>Required Education and Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred, four (4) plus years&rsquo; experience in relevant role will be considered in lieu of a degree.</li>
<li>A minimum of seven (7) years&rsquo; experience in a progressively responsible auditing or financial management position.</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge and experience managing internal control frameworks, and audit methodologies.</li>
<li>Proven expertise in developing and managing databases, including tracking procedural compliance. Proven proficiency in electronic information systems.</li>
<li>Familiarity with cyber security audits and relevant regulations and standards.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and procedural data, manage databases, and develop actionable recommendations.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to senior management and the Board of Directors.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Education and Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Master&rsquo;s Degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA)</li>
<li>5 years&rsquo; experience undertaking Internal Audit.</li>
<li>Participation in risk mitigation, such as risk assessments and abatement experience,</li>
<li>Solid understanding of risk assessment techniques, insurance policies, and claim handling procedures.</li>
<li>Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management and insurance.</li>
<li>Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including those promulgated by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and familiarity with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Uniform system of accounts.</li>

<ul><li>Assistance with restoration is required of all employees.</li>
<li>Employees will be assigned functions to support restoration and for some employees that may be different from their normal duties.</li>

<p>
Normal office conditions, occasional overtime may be required. Positions eligible for a hybrid work schedule will be dependent upon management approval &amp; workload; however, on-site office work in the Plymouth, NH area will be required.

<p>Will be required to work long hours on occasions, especially during major system outages. Limited travel required in the performance of work responsibilities and representing NHEC at various professional and association meetings.

<p><b>COMPENSATION:</b><br>

<p>The target salary range for this position is $<b>115,669 - $131,777</b> with anticipated pay for new hires between the entry and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of NHEC&rsquo;s total compensation package for employees.
