You will perform a wide variety of advanced modeling and analysis activities to complete complex assignments while ensuring project deliverables are met.</p><p></p><p><b>
What You'll Be Doing</b></p><ul><li>
Providing input to the task leads to the development of the BIM implementation baseline schedule at the start of any task.</li><li>
Utilizing BIM-related software to develop, manage, and maintain digital models for ITS and dry utilities infrastructure.</li><li>
Leading the preparation, review, and execution of BIM implementation/management plans at the program/project level.</li><li>
Assessing and confirming BIM accessibility and data accuracy through regular quality reviews/checks.</li><li>
Completing model assurance reports and drafting special provisions and procurement inputs for digital uses.</li><li>
Reviewing models for compliance with project standards and requirements, with oversight where required.</li><li>
Providing input to clients and other stakeholders working on the same project and assisting the team in responding to client queries and requests.</li><li>
Assisting in the development of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), including standards, methods, and procedures.</li><li>
Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure effective model integration (e.g., ITS, roads, structures, utilities).</li><li>
Interfacing regularly with other departments on matters relating to BIM work assignments.</li><li>
Providing technical guidance and training to junior staff and checking the deliverables of equal-to or less experienced staff.</li><li>
Supporting the development of BIM training materials and, where required, acting in an advisory capacity to senior management and production staff on BIM-related matters.</li><li>
Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Required Skills You'll Bring</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, or a relevant discipline.</li><li>
10 years of related work experience in BIM/modeling for infrastructure projects related to ITS and dry/wet utilities, or similar.</li><li>
Proficiency in relevant BIM and civil infrastructure software, such as Autodesk Civil 3D, InfraWorks, and Revit.</li><li>
Proficient in advanced core BIM software packages/workflows and related modeling principles and applications, with a primary focus on Autodesk Civil 3D.</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to apply these concepts to modeling assignments.</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) usage and management for model production.</li><li>
Advanced understanding of hardware and software used in CAD and BIM (including deployment processes, requirements, and troubleshooting).</li><li>
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate modeling technical and non-technical subjects with management, engineering, and production staff.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Desired Skills You'll Bring</b></p><ul><li>
BIM-related certification from recognized providers is preferred.</li><li>
Awareness of key performance indicators (KPIs) and risk registers for digital production delivery, with the ability to generate basic reports.</li><li>
Understanding of how to perform basic capacity and capability assessments for task teams and model production.</li><li>
Ability to use and provide ongoing support in BIM and CDE systems.</li><li>
Understanding of Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP) and Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) development and use.</li><li>
Proficiency in developing catalogues such as 2D symbology, families, parametric components, parts, and sub-assemblies.</li><li>
Understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices in the context of BIM production.</li></ul><p></p>
