Shifts may change per operational needs. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
<br><b>Training:</b> Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by completion of a two-year training program/apprenticeship in automotive or heavy equipment mechanics.Experience: Four years of responsible experience as a general mechanic, including at least one year of experience on automobiles and light trucks and at least one year on heavy equipment.An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.Special Requirements: Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License at time of appointment.Possession of a valid Oregon Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within twelve months of appointment. Ability to obtain appropriate CDL endorsements as necessary.Note: Finalists for this classification are required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test before entering County employment. <p>Senior Mechanic (GSE) is responsible to assist Aircraft Technicians and Licensed Aircraft Engineers with the maintenance of Emirates and third-party aircraft compliant to GCAA regulations.

</b></p><ul><li>Carry out basic servicing of EK and third-party aircraft without supervision ensuring that manufacturers and company procedures are followed.

</li><li>Have a sound knowledge of routine servicing ground equipment in order to identify un-serviceability, accurately recording these to ensure immediate rectification.
</li><li>Communicate with the operating crew of aircraft in relation to refuelling aircraft and routine servicing, as well as refuelling aircraft without supervision including technical log completion.
</li><li>Complete transit/daily/weekly and service checks of EK aircraft.
</li><li>Ensure tools, equipment and systems (including Ultramain) are well maintained in the relevant work place.
</li><li>Maintain and ensure the safety of self and others by taking safety precautions at all times, continuously monitoring the working area and taking corrective action to keep it clean and obstruction free to avoid any accidents.

As the Senior Auto Mechanic, you will not only have the responsibility of performing repairs/services needed, but you will also directly supervise and mentor other mechanics in the shop.<br>

<b>Job Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.</li><li>
Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.</li><li>
Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.</li><li>
Develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.</li><li>
Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.</li><li>
Document work order with 3C&rsquo;s.</li><li>
Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations.</li><li>
Dispatch repair orders according to skill level.</li><li>
Maintain direct communication with management.</li><li>

<b>Position Summary:</b><br>
The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as the ability to perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br>
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment.
<br><br>
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, including PLC and VFD troubleshooting.
<br><br>
Operate and maintain tools and machinery such as welders, lathes, and drill presses.
<br><br>
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
<br><br>
Support new equipment installations and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
<br><br>
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
<br><br>
Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, SQF, and all safety protocols.
<br><br>
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
<br><br>
Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics as needed.
<br><br>
<b>Qualifications:</b><br>
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance; food manufacturing preferred.
<br><br>
Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical (up to 480VAC), and pneumatic systems.
<br><br>
Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and preventive maintenance practices.
<br><br>
Experience with welding (MIG/TIG), fabrication tools, and basic plumbing/carpentry.
<br><br>
Able to read technical manuals, drawings, and electrical schematics.
<br><br>
Must supply own tools appropriate to the role.
<br><br>
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
<br><br>
Certificate or degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field (preferred)
<br><br>
Stainless welding or HVAC experience a plus.
<br><br>
<b>Physical Requirements:</b><br>
Ability to lift and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally.
<br><br>
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
<br><br>
Work in hot, cold, or elevated environments with appropriate PPE.
<br><br>
<b>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):</b><br>
