The primary purpose of this role is to oversee asset protection functions, performing AP and Safety-related activities to support Home Depot's business objectives, such as, but not limited to minimizing shrink, risk and safety incidents, providing on boarding to AP programs, OSHA standards and investigations, training, coaching and response to potentially volatile situations, requiring effective decision making and conducting investigations for assigned DC's. This includes responsibility for data integrity and tracking of various performance metrics across AP activities. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
30% Strategy and Planning: Organizes, plans and performs asset protection activities within the assigned location(s) for topics such as shrink, and safety awareness programs, merchandise accuracy audits, training, development and execution of those programs; Implements strategic asset protection plans in partnership with building leadership, and provides support to the leadership team related to improving overall performance as it relates to shrink, safety, accuracy and regulatory compliance</li><li>
30% Delivery and Execution: Participates in the decision making process with leadership relating to decisions about shrink, safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Makes recommendations and provides communication to Sr. Asset Protection Manager, and others; Initiates investigations and resolution of safety, regulatory compliance, and theft related issues. Discusses concerns as they arise with the GM, and HRM. Escalates to Sr. Asset Protection Manager as necessary to protect the company brand, liability and maintain a productive work environment for all associates; Attains performance metrics related to safety, shrink, accuracy, regulatory compliance and expenses, using all available tools, to review the overall safety and security metrics. Immediately reporting relevant issues to GM and or Sr. Asset Protection Manager and implementing solutions to improve the safety and shrink of assigned building(s); Share performance results with DC leadership, Sr. Asset Protection Manager, and SSC business partners to identify areas for improvement and recommend resolutions as it relates to the overall safety, shrink, accuracy, and regulatory compliance</li><li>
20% People: Manages a team of Asset Protection Supervisors, Auditors through hands-on leadership; Makes recommendations concerning their teams (e.g., recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, and professional development); Identifies training needs throughout all departments in the DC by determining gaps in operations, safety and shrink performance, hazardous material handling, and regulatory compliance execution of the operations programs; Reviews and provides feedback on key Asset Protection deliverables in Shrink, Safety, Accuracy and Compliance</li><li>
20% Compliance: Leads regulatory investigations suc as, OSHA, EPA, state and federal agencies. Maintain compliance with all Supply Chain security measures that will include but not limited to a seal compliance and testing program and maintaining a strong physical security presence. Leverage contracted site guard supervisors, and ensure all electronic security systems are in good working order at all times.</li></ul>

An Assets Protection Operations Manager (APOM) role in Global Supply Chain means leading a secure work environment for all Target team members, temporary workers, vendors and visitors within a supply chain facility. You will manage a team of Target Security Specialists responsible for the execution of Assets Protection routines and initiatives to support secure environments and protect Target&rsquo;s profitability. You&rsquo;ll support building leadership through security incident and crisis management preparations, along with real-time support and resolution. You&rsquo;ll be accountable for ensuring routines are being executed to identify, investigate and resolve theft and fraud activity. You will build strong relationships with law enforcement and community agencies.

The Asset Protection Supervisor is based within a Sephora Distribution Center environment and is responsible for and leading a team of AP Investigators with a focus on building shrink reduction. The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for assisting in hiring, onboarding, training and the continuous development of Asset Protection Investigators within the facility as well as overseeing third-party contracted security personnel. 
 
Essential Functions of Job:<ul><li>
Oversee the daily operations of the Loss Prevention department.</li><li>
Drive an intense focus on shrink reduction through training, investigations, physical security and controls.</li><li>
Identify, investigate, and resolve internal/external theft or fraudulent incidents within the Distribution Centers.</li><li>
Conduct investigative interviews in alignment to Sephora policies and procedures.</li><li>
Understand and maintain strict compliance with the law and Sephora policies concerning investigations, apprehensions, search and seizure and the preservation of evidence.</li><li>
Develop and support a Loss Prevention awareness culture through partnerships, ongoing communication, and training.</li><li>
Maintain and monitor all physical security controls including and not limited to key/core control, card access, alarm and CCTV systems.</li><li>
Participate in the inventory process as well as any applicable shrink reduction plans.</li><li>
Represent company concerning any case, criminal or civil wherein the company is a party in interest.</li><li>
Perform checklists and audits and communicate findings with leadership.</li><li>
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:<ul><li>
Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening and interpersonal communications skills.</li><li>
Ability to make appropriate quick decisions in potentially stressful situations.</li><li>

Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Minimum of 3 years of Loss Prevention experience, preferably within a distribution center environment. Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred</li><li>
High School graduate or equivalent.</li><li>
Experience with CCTV, alarm and card access systems preferred.</li><li>
Wicklander-Zulawski certification or Reid certification preferred.</li><li>
Must be able to stand/walk the production floor for an extended period of time.</li><li>
