This category leader will play a pivotal role in advancing KBR&rsquo;s mission within the Unified Combatant Command, connecting them with new capabilities. The selected candidate must possess an understanding of the geographic and Joint Forces environment, as well as key-decision makers, to effectively address operating challenges with new capabilities. The Account Manager will be responsible for building relationships with the regional command, creating a focused pipeline, and winning new business. They will engage with military customers to drive strategic award opportunities and top pursuits.
Roles and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle across proposals and pursuits.</li><li>
Routinely build pipeline and advance winnable opportunities with the average size of $200M+ solicitation pursuits.</li><li>
Engage the customer, shape future procurements, design a winning strategy, and assist in developing a capture plan that implements the strategy and translates into win themes.</li><li>
Ensure the voice of the customer is contained in the content throughout the capture process.</li><li>
Plan, lead, execute BD activities to include:<ul><li>
Leading the development of a healthy pipeline of new winnable opportunities</li><li>
Qualify and assess the &ldquo;win-ability&rdquo; of new opportunities and move them through the milestone process</li><li>
Develop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer&rsquo;s requirements, challenges, issues, and needs during the capture phase and lead solutioning/planning sessions with the capture team</li><li>
Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices</li><li>
Lead milestone/gate reviews, black hat sessions, solution sessions, blue teams, and support proposal reviews</li><li>
Lead the development and submission of white papers, RFI responses, and other customer engagement activities.</li><li>
Apply KBR BD best practices to each pursuit, including customer engagement, solution, and win theme development</li><li>
Brief pipeline and opportunity status to senior management at specified milestones</li><li>
Develop successful client solutions to win large new business programs</li></ul></li></ul>
Basic Qualifications
<ul><li>Over 15 years&rsquo; experience in operations and Business Development in support of Federal clients.</li><li>
Over 3 years&rsquo; of experience in Business Development within the INDOPACOM.</li><li>
Experience winning new business, including contracts awards valued over $200M.</li><li>
Understanding of Joint Staff/COCOM technology and employment requirements accounting for US Air Force, US Space Force, US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Army capabilities along with key allied and coalition partners.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplace.</li><li>
Pre-existing industry knowledge and relationships with proven track records of winning single award programs as a prime.</li><li>
Proven success in the following discipline(s) within Business development: opportunity identification and qualification, account planning, and strategic planning capability.</li><li>
Demonstrated leadership skills in services-centric organizations to develop, organize and execute significant BD activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree.</li><li>
Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain.</li><li>
Experience working classified pursuits.</li><li>

As our Senior Account Manager on the Personal Lines team, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for the following:
This is a service position. The primary function of this position is to provide the highest quality service to customers and cross sell within the existing book of business. The Senior Account Manager (SAM) will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company (MIB) and designated accounts managed by Account Executives/Sr. Account Executives/Producers. Daily servicing of customers will include addressing various coverage issues, contract analysis, exposure analysis, issuing auto ID cards, handling all the inside service work associated with the client&rsquo;s accounts, including all endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, preparation of formal proposals, checking and binding policies. The Senior Account Manager (SAM) should have experience in all areas of Personal Lines insurance. As needed the SAM will coordinate with and defer to the Account Executive/Sr. Account Executive/or Producer on strategic account issues and potential problems. The SAM is responsible for the successful fulfillment of Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines (SOP&rsquo;s).

</li><li>Immediately update Summary of Insurance for existing clients.
</li><li>Remarket accounts as directed and follow up with AE or Producer
</li><li>Maintain agency EPIC files accurately and consistently documenting conversations in emails and other notes sent to clients, while adhering to all MIB electronic and EPIC procedures.
</li><li>Handle cancellations timely by checking carrier websites or NOC&rsquo;s received via scan, fax or email, legally saving all accounts possible with adherence to E&amp;O guidelines.
</li><li>Prepare and check policies based on SOP&rsquo;s checklist to include preparing letters, invoicing, summaries of insurance, certificates, ID cards, evidence of insurance, binders, etc. Policies must be checked for accuracy and all applicable endorsements.
</li><li>Know and be up to date on the utilization of carrier websites, carrier communications, new coverage options and billing procedures.
</li></ul>These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
<ul><li>College Degree preferred (high school diploma is required)
</li><li>Current California Department of Insurance License
</li><li>2-4 years of experience
</li><li>Proficient MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
</li><li>Experience utilizing carrier websites to market and rate new and/or renewal business such as Safeco, Allied, Travelers, Chartis, ACE, Chubb, Fireman&rsquo;s Fund
