<p>As a Senior Platform Engineer focused on CI/CD and Developer Productivity at Mux, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in evolving the foundation systems that power our high-traffic, distributed products and in shaping how engineers build, test, and ship them every day. You&rsquo;ll be the force behind a smooth, end-to-end developer experience in our Kubernetes world, wiring together local dev, builds, tests, and deploys into fast reliable pipelines that scale with our Engineering teams.</p>
<p>Our Platform Engineering team works cross-functionally with product engineers to reduce friction and increase confidence from their first line of code to production. In this role, you&rsquo;ll design and run CI/CD systems that improve reliability and velocity across a polyglot monorepo, and partner closely with teams to understand pain points and turn them into delightful, durable tools. Your work will directly influence how quickly we can innovate and how enjoyable that innovation feels for everyone writing and shipping Mux products.</p>

This is the senior-most rung on our platform engineering ladder. You own and evolve the platform end to end, with wide decision-making latitude. You're the internal go-to for platform, infrastructure and security, you set the technical direction for how engineers (and the agents working alongside them) build, and your decisions have company-wide impac<b>t</b>. You won't just keep the lights on; you'll redesign how we work.</p><p></p><p>
Our whole business, from a loan application to a funding decision, runs on a cloud-native platform on AWS: EKS, Istio, Flux GitOps, Terraform, Helm, and <b>our own in-house-built cloud infrastructure operator</b> that provisions cloud resources (queues, buckets and more) declaratively, straight from Kubernetes. On that same platform runs our agentic AI operating system and the AI infrastructure behind it. And yes &mdash; you'll build with agentic coding tools every day. Set the technical direction for how BridgeFund engineers, and the agents working alongside them, build and operate software.</li><li>

Run and scale the infrastructure behind our agentic AI operating system, context retrieval, LLM observability, MCP tooling and model access on Amazon Bedrock.</li><li>
Make us secure and compliant <i>by design</i>: OPA authorization, Istio mTLS, IRSA, Cognito and secrets management baked into the platform, not bolted on.</li><li>
Drive bold architectural change, our GitOps direction, self-service infrastructure and golden path, challenging standard approaches and weighing long-term trade-offs.</li><li>
Align stakeholders across departments and the leadership team, anticipate cross-team tensions, and warn affected teams before they feel the change.</li><li>

Why this role exists<p>
Driftrock runs entirely on Google Cloud, and our product is growing quickly as more clients trust us with their marketing. As we scale, we're investing in a dedicated owner for our platform and security, so our engineering squads can keep shipping fast with strong foundations under them.</p><p>
You'll define how we run, secure and evolve our platform, and build the tooling and secure defaults that let our product squads ship confidently without reinventing infrastructure every time.
