 Role Overview
 
 
 
 
 The Senior Cloud FinOps Consultant will serve as a key advisor to public sector entities on cloud financial governance and cost optimization. This role is cloud-agnostic and strategic in nature, focusing on building FinOps capabilities, promoting cost visibility, and ensuring that cloud spending aligns with business value across both GCP and Azure environments. This role will be focused on red team operations, custom tooling, and original vulnerability research. The successful candidate will plan and execute full-scope adversary simulations and develop proprietary tradecraft that extends our offensive capability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-Plan and lead a full-scope red team engagement, including external, internal, assumed-breach, and physical-access scenarios, mapped to MITRE ATT&amp;CK and client-specific threat models.-Develop custom offensive tooling, including initial-access payloads, command-and-control modules, post-exploitation frameworks, and evasion techniques tailored to mature defensive environments.-Conduct vulnerability research against commercial software, embedded devices, and bespoke client applications, with the expectation of producing publishable findings and coordinated CVE disclosures.-Perform reverse engineering of binaries, drivers, and firmware to identify exploitable conditions, develop proof-of-concept exploits, and document weaponization paths.-Defeat modern endpoint detection and response platforms through tradecraft refinement, including in-memory execution, syscall manipulation, and tooling that minimizes telemetry.-Author a detailed technical report and executive briefing that translates adversary actions into prioritized, business-aligned remediation guidance.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS-Minimum five years of hands-on red team operations experience, with demonstrated lead responsibility on full-scope engagements against mature, well-monitored environments.-Demonstrated custom tool development capability in at least two of the following: C, C++, Rust, Go, C#, or assembly.
