 The projects team focusing on delivering across FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield, Greenfield scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost and the project schedule targets.

 The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for:

 The primary responsibility for the Senior Project Engineer is for the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical and commercial aspects of the work safely, with quality and within schedule and budget objectives.

 The Senior Project Engineer also ensures that the customer criteria and scope of work are being met by all engineering disciplines. The Senior Project Engineer is functionally responsible to the Portfolio Delivery Manager.

 <li>
 The Senior Project Engineer may be assisted by the assignment of Project Engineers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver assigned projects from Assess to Execute including hand&hyphen;over to Operations and formal closeout (Construction &amp; Commissioning management shall be by Company, however the Senior Project Engineer shall be responsible for interface management with the relevant Company teams in delivery of the project).
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver Goal Zero on assigned projects with Focus on HSE, quality and process safety throughout the project lifecycle
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize HAZOP(s) / HAZIDs and follow up closeout of mitigation actions in order to demonstrate ALARP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare scope packages for the execute contracts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the subcontractors / vendors and will act as the prime focal point for these for the assigned projects.
 </li>

 Develop and implement effective progress and budget control and reporting.
 </li>

 Identify, assess and manage project risks following effective risk management plan and demonstrating ALARP
 </li>

 Adhere to Project Management of Change Procedures to sustain engineering design integrity.

Job Summary:Sr. Structural Engineer is concerned with designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings.Duties &amp; Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):<ul><li>Analyze configurations of the basic structural components of a building or other structure to ensure they are accurate and feasible.</li><li>Supervise and maintain construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.</li><li>Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)</li><li>Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications</li><li>Perform complex structural analysis using engineering software to ensure designs meet building codes and safety standards</li><li>Develop and implement structural systems using materials like steel, concrete and wood</li><li>Assess potential risks, materials and costs.</li><li>Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies</li><li>Monitor progress and compile reports in project status</li><li>Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials</li><li>Attend &amp; Lead project review meetings to evaluate progress of on-going construction or maintenance activities.</li><li>Liaise with Project Manager to understand the implications of their design/construction of their project in relation to maintenance and on-going operation.</li><li>Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.</li><li>Report technically and financially regarding planning and overall progress of approved plans.</li><li>Evaluate the issues raised by the Jr. Engineers &amp; provide solutions for the same</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering</li><li>Minimum 15 years of experience</li><li>7 years in structural strengthening and repair</li><li>Consultancy experience is an asset</li><li>UPDA Grade A Certified is a must</li><li>Experience in various scale projects including health care, educational, hotels, administrative, sports, industrial, high-rise buildings and commercial complexes.</li><li>Experience in almost all structural systems including hollow core slabs, post-tension slabs, precast, steel and traditional concrete structures</li><li>Should be able to join on a short notice</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Proficient in AutoCAD and other Applications such as Revit, ETab, SAP, Safe, Prokon &amp; any other equivalent application.</li><li>Ability to identify and solve complex</li><li>Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences</li><li>Strong mathematical ability.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have work experience with Ashghal projects?</li><li>How many years of experience do you have in total?</li><li>Do you have experience working with Engineering Consultancy?</li><li>What is your current salary?</li><li>What is your expected salary?</li><li>Do you have notice period?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>minimum: 10 years (Required)</li><li>Structural strengthening &amp; Repair: 7 years (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Grade A (Required)</li></ul>
