<br>The Role
<br>The Senior Project Manager oversees complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet all scope, timeline, and budget requirements. Responsible for tracking and reporting of project status, issue/risk management, successful completion of deliverables, and interfacing with other business leads / subject matter experts across the organization to support overall project efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks and responsibilities.

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br>
Lead multiple or large-scale projects designed to improve organizational and operational effectiveness, including Corporate Portfolio Projects supporting Payment Integrity
<br>Oversee and direct all aspects of the project life cycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control, Closeout)
<br>Apply standard project management methodology / processes / tools
<br>Understand and manage the overall end to end process for Payment Integrity and collaborate with external divisions to ensure fully integrated solutions are in place.
<br>Knowledge and understanding of the Enterprise Technology processes to apply guidance and insight into projects
<br>Performs strategic translations translating business needs into high level technical requirements
<br>Provide executive thinking to ensure vendor and technical requirements will meet the needs of the business
<br>Ensures Integrated Project Plans (Vendor, Enterprise Technology and Business are developed, updated and identifies gaps
<br>Leads multi-disciplinary project teams and manages the activities of project team members who are not direct reports and work throughout the division
<br>Develops project related deliverables including project plans, process workflow diagrams, risk mitigation plans, and contingency plans
<br>Manages status reporting processes and communications for all stakeholders
<br>Integrate business functional content expertise among the project team; seek out the participation of organizational subject matter experts, as needed
<br>Solicit input from internal customers/stakeholders, including both clinical leaders and supporting associates from external departments, in developing implementation plans
<br>Ensure completion of on-time, high quality deliverables to achieve targeted project outcomes / milestones
<br>Identify, mitigate / resolve, escalate risks and issues
<br>Ensure Scope Management, prepare project scope change requests, as needed
<br>Manage and provide feedback to assigned Project Leads, as needed
<br>Identify and apply lessons learned to support continuous improvement efforts
<br><br>
<b>Key Qualifications:</b><br>
Demonstrated experience in leading all aspects of project life cycle, such as: business case development, communication plan development, work plan development and maintenance, team management, resource planning, status reporting, issue/risk identification and management, performance measurement (e.g., measurement and monitoring), etc.
<br>Effective verbal and written communications; high degree of initiative; team player; results oriented; willingness to get the job done
<br>Ability to effectively communicate with associates at all levels of the organization
<br>Excellent presentation skills (large and small audiences)
<br>Demonstrated process improvement and project/operations management experience
<br>Ability to effectively plan and facilitate organized, productive meetings/workgroups
<br>Ability to work independently and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision
<br>Strong PC skills including proficiency in use of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access
<br>Strong Project Management skills (e.g., MS Project, Budget/Resource/Timeline Estimating, process mapping, etc.)
<br>Knowledge of BCBSMA products and services, and a broad understanding of the health care industry

<b>Education and Experience :</b><br>
BA/BS degree preferred
<br>Post Graduate Education a plus
<br>7+ years professional business experience preferred in project management within healthcare
<br>Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification a plus

<b>Salary Range:</b> $138,447.93 - $174,900.00
