</h5>The Engineering Projects section specializes in evaluating, specifying, and negotiating new and used aircraft acquisitions. We oversee the entire process, from initial evaluation and assembly inspection to final delivery and acceptance.
We develop detailed specifications for aircraft and new system installations, including Passenger Entertainment and Connectivity Services (IFE) and Cabin Interiors. Our team ensures that all regulatory requirements, safety standards, functionality, and maintainability are met for each aircraft's entry into service.
As a Manager Engineering Projects , you will be responsible for monitoring all of the projects based on assigned commodities (i.e. systems, Avionics and IFE and airplane level) to ensure they are in line with company set standards and long term vision. Lead a team of assigned Project Engineers to ensure Emirates remain a market leader on future products, emerging technology. Define future plans for new airplanes detailing systems development, cabin customization, and product offering, for Emirates future fleet. In this role, you will:
<ul><li>Accountable for the entire aircraft level program from evolution of configuration, product and system specification build up through to final production. Salary Range: $83,000 - $154,000

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team building embedded systems and space electronics. The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from conception to completion. This role bridges the gap between technical engineering and project management, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables</li><li>
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies</li><li>
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines</li><li>
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management</li><li>
Ensure process and quality compliance through the development lifecycle</li><li>
Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success</li><li>
Be a servant-leader to the team, removing blockers and fostering collaboration</li><li>
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)</li><li>
Monitor KPIs and adjust plans to meet performance targets</li><li>
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization</li><li>
Ability to support travel or off-site work, as needed.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related technical field) and 6 years of related experience, OR 4 years of related experience with a Master&rsquo;s degree.</li><li>
Experience with PCB design, hardware bring-up, and electronics manufacturing processes</li><li>
Working knowledge of engineering principles and project lifecycle management</li><li>
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD)</li><li>
4+ years of experience in embedded systems development</li><li>
2+ years of experience in project engineering or project management</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
PMP or PE certification</li><li>
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)</li><li>
Experience delivering space qualified products</li></ul>
