The Role
As a Senior Project Planner with Worley , you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
<ul><li>Responsible to lead the team of Planning engineers for Construction planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of the project.
</li><li>Assign/distribute works/work areas to the planning engineers and ensure that.
</li><li>Level III Construction Programme for the project is developed.
</li><li>Level III Programme is reviewed and modified, as appropriate.
</li><li>Level IV schedule for critical areas of the project/critical phase of construction are developed, as may be required.
</li><li>Prepare the WBS for construction and the S curves for progress monitoring/Review the WBS structure and the S Curves, in case available, and make modifications as appropriate along with the Planning Engineers.
</li><li>Discuss with Customer and finalize the progress reporting formats, in line with the standard formats.
</li><li>Review the tender/contract documents to understand the requirements of construction planning and progress reporting to be fulfilled by the contractors.
</li><li>Collaborate with the planning engineers/discipline engineers towards review of the construction programme and resource deployment schedule submitted by the contractors. Consolidate and furnish comments on the submission from the contractors.
</li><li>Collaborate with the planning engineers/discipline engineers and the Construction Manager/Resident Construction Manager for approval of the contractor&rsquo;s schedule and resource deployment plan.

<ul><li>Align with the contractors for progress reporting formats and frequency.
</li><li>Report overall progress of construction periodically as agreed with the Customer.
</li><li>Collaborate with planning engineers/discipline engineers in monitoring the work front status in terms of IFC drawings (Issued for Construction Drawings) and availability of Free Issue Materials.
</li><li>Collaborate with planning engineers/discipline engineers in monitoring the progress of works and resource deployment by the contractors. Highlight deficiencies through formal communication to the contractors.
</li><li>Prepare slide packs for progress review meetings with contractors and customer. Review minutes of meetings, as required.
</li><li>Assist the Resident Construction Manager/Construction Manager to monitor the Worley internal budget for Construction Management.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Manage and coordinate planning and scheduling interfaces between the Client, PMT, Worley Project Controls team, engineering teams, and multiple contractors supporting the Integrated PDH-PP Plants project.

</li><li>Monitor and assess overall project progress and performance across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and other project workstreams.
</li><li>Review and challenge contractor progress data, forecasts, and projected completion dates, including earned value and schedule performance analysis against approved baselines and project targets.
</li><li>Identify schedule risks, critical and near-critical path activities, constraints, delays, and interface issues, and recommend appropriate mitigation, corrective, and recovery actions.
</li><li>Prepare and consolidate weekly and monthly progress and performance reports, including schedule forecasts, trends, and key planning information for the Client, PMT, and project leadership.
</li><li>Support the validation of contractor progress, including progress measurement, reported quantities, and, where required, the review of progress claims and payment applications.
</li><li>Participate in planning, progress, schedule review, and coordination meetings, while ensuring that planning and reporting activities remain consistent with project procedures, contractual requirements, Client requirements, and Worley standards.
</li><li>Support the review and analysis of contractor Extension of Time (EOT) requests and claims and provide planning input to the PMT and Client for evaluation and resolution.
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
</li><li>Experienced in planning, scheduling, and project controls, preferably within oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, refining, industrial, infrastructure sectors or downstream projects.
</li><li>Proven experience working in a PMC, PMT, EPC, or major capital project environment across Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC phases.
</li><li>Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, including development, review, and analysis of baseline schedules, updates, look-ahead schedules, recovery programmes, and critical path analysis.
</li><li>Good knowledge of project controls principles, including progress measurement, earned value management, forecasting, schedule performance analysis, and reporting.
</li><li>Experience reviewing and challenging contractor schedules, progress updates, forecasts, and recovery plans across multiple contractors and work packages.
</li><li>Experience in delay analysis, Extension of Time (EOT) assessment, and schedule-related claims evaluation would be advantageous.

Lead Workface Planner North Wales &ndash; Site Based
Role Context
Worley are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Workface Planner to join our team on a 2 year fixed term contract with possible extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of construction projects using the O3 solution Workface Planning (WFP) tool. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team of Workface Planners and coordinating with multiple Construction Subcontractor&rsquo;s WFP teams to maximise the efficiencies and productivity of their work crews.
You'll Do/Carry Out:
<ul><li>Coordination and Leadership: Lead the implementation of the WFP processes on site in accordance with the Project WFP requirements, including the training and coaching of Construction Subcontractor(s) on the WFP and use of the O3 tool.
</li><li>Detailed Planning: Ensure that the Construction Subcontractor(s) WFP team are implementing a detailed planning process and removing site constraints to ensure IWPs are issued to the work crews with no holds.
</li><li>Develop and Manage Installation Work Packages (IWPs): Convert Construction Work Packages (CWPs) into detailed IWPs, ensuring all necessary resources are available and constraints are removed prior to field release.

What You Will Do:

This is a full-time, remote position ideal for a meticulous planner who excels at coordinating complex projects and ensuring their timely completion. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing project timelines, resources, and communication with stakeholders, playing a vital role in our continued success.
