We are seeking a senior Applied Scientist with expertise in more than one or more of the following areas: machine learning, natural language processing, computational linguistics, algorithmic fairness, statistical inference, causal modeling, reinforcement learning, Bayesian methods, predictive analytics, decision theory, recommender systems, deep learning, time series modeling. In this role, you will lead and support research efforts within all aspects of the employee lifecycle: from candidate identification to recruiting, to onboarding and talent management, to leadership and development, to finally retention and brand advocacy upon exit. 
 
The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, excellent business acumen, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and have an expertise in both science and engineering. The ideal candidate is not methods-driven, but driven by the research question at hand; in other words, they will select the appropriate method for the problem, rather than searching for questions to answer with a preferred method. The candidate will need to navigate complex and ambiguous business challenges by asking the right questions, understanding what methodologies to employ, and communicating results to multiple audiences (e.g., technical peers, functional teams, business leaders).

</h2>We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Marsh . This role will be based in Riyadh, hybrid and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Claims Consultant is a senior claims handler handling complex coverage scenarios. Receives new claims from clients and/or colleagues, reviews, processes, collects information and notifies all appropriate insurers. Role identifies and validates coverage information, updates core claims applications and tracks the process through to completion of each claims movement or until finalization of the Marsh responsibilities agreed with the client. Responsibilities also include managing, facilitating and actioning all subsequent movements or activities, including settlement or payment as appropriate and reporting, through to completion of the claim. Role will handle or assist others on more complex matters, acting as technical and procedural referral point including providing procedural advice or guidance to clients as necessary. Works independently in consistently managing a portfolio of very complex or significant value claims, or client transactions.

 To serve as a liaison to the medical/ scientific community and responsible for establishing, devel-oping and partnering with Health Care Providers/ Professionals (HCPs), e.g. external Medical Ex-perts, study investigators, treatment guideline experts, etc. to ensure the appropriate dissemina-tion of clinical and scientific information regarding Novartis&rsquo; compounds in a timely, ethical and stakeholder-focused manner. To implement clinical and educational strategies in collaboration with other Novartis colleagues for designated stakeholders. To pair key stakeholders&rsquo; scientific educational and research needs with available Novartis resources and provide the latest emerging data in response to specific HCP inquiries, as appropriate.
