<p>We are responsible for the design, modification and maintenance of the software solutions used to process receivables finance and supply chain finance deals. Our applications range from in-house developed channels, a modern integration layer, SaaS solutions and a couple of legacy applications. The integration layer is event-based and central to supporting digitalized customer journeys, enabling straight-through processing by connecting channels, backend services and other applications in our IT landscape.</p>
<p></p><p>You will lead a chapter of Dev engineers and DevOps engineers working across a couple of squads, as well as work as senior engineer. You and your chapter members must demonstrate the mature technical capabilities on the following areas:</p>

<li>Develop event-based integration components using Java SpringBoot, Kafka, Apache Camel, and Json.</li>

<p>As IT Chapter Lead and Dev Engineer, you are a key player in the cooperation between engineers, customer journey experts, architects, business analysts and other stakeholders. Your main responsibilities in this position will involve:</p>

Your Impact</b></p><p>
You will lead our Solutions Engineering team for Mollie Connect, a team of six, spread across three offices, that bridges Product and our most demanding users: platforms that embed and monetise payments and financial services through Mollie.</p><p>
Your team operates at the intersection of technology, product, and commercial strategy. You translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa, from the first pre-sales conversation through implementation and beyond. Your counterparts are CTOs, solution architects, and engineering teams at Europe's most ambitious software platforms, marketplaces, and enterprise organisations.</p><p>
This is a player-coach role. You'll lead and develop the team while staying deeply hands-on with our most complex and strategic engagements. You'll shape how we sell, how we implement, and how we feed learnings back into the Connect product roadmap.</p><p></p><p><b>

7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Sales Engineering, or a comparable role in the software/SaaS industry.</p></li><li><p>
At least 2 years of experience leading a team, whether as a formal team lead or in a senior player-coach capacity. You know how to develop people, set direction, and create the conditions for a team to do their best work.</p></li><li><p>
Strong technical acumen. You're comfortable reading and discussing APIs, integration architectures, and technical documentation. You can hold your own in conversations with engineers, architects, and CTOs.</p></li><li><p>
Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, and modern integration patterns. You understand how platforms are built and how payments fit into broader technology ecosystems.</p></li><li><p>
Proven ability in consultative, technical pre-sales. You know how to discover needs, design solutions, and articulate value to both technical and commercial stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>
Experience working with complex, multi-stakeholder environments: SaaS platforms, marketplaces, or enterprise organisations with layered decision-making.</p></li><li><p>
