Essential Functions</h1>

<li>Drive a student transport vehicle to transport students to and from assigned schools in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, policies, regulations, administrative codes, and transportation operation guidelines</li>
<li>Obey all traffic laws and observe all mandatory safety regulations for student transport vehicles including clearing the vehicle and evacuating students quickly in the event of an emergency</li>

<li>Perform pre- and post-route inspection of vehicle including, but not limited to, reporting mechanical defects, logging items left, reporting vandalism to the interior, ensuring all students have exited the vehicle by the end of the route, and securing all windows and doors to protect interior of the vehicle</li>
<li>Park the vehicle properly and maintain adequate fuel levels</li>
<li>Report any accidents to the transportation department</li>
<li>Establish and maintain effective communications and working relationships with monitors, district personnel, school officials, and parents</li>
<li>Exercise responsible leadership when on school field trips</li>
<li>Safely operate a district fleet vehicle to travel to assigned job sites, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company driving policies</li>

The AV Supervisor will work closely with local and regional leaders to ensure efficient deployment of AV fleets and consistent driver/operator management.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead, coordinate, and supervise AV Driver/Operator teams across assigned locations.</li><li>Conduct daily shift planning, scheduling, task delegation, and attendance tracking.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and operational protocols.</li><li>Train, coach, and mentor AV operators on procedures and program standards.</li><li>Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions when required.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Fleet, Safety, Engineering) to resolve issues.</li><li>Monitor productivity metrics and implement efficiency improvements.</li><li>Respond promptly to on-ground escalations and emergencies.</li><li>Prepare weekly operational reports and summaries.</li><li>Coordinate with Fleet &amp; Maintenance teams to ensure optimal vehicle uptime.</li><li>Travel required - approximately 90% of the time across locations</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>3+ years of experience in Operations, Transportation, Logistics, Automotive, or related field.</li><li>Prior supervisory or team lead experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.</li><li>Analytical mindset with process improvement capability.</li><li>Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean record.</li><li>Willingness to travel between assigned cities.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Experience in autonomous vehicles, fleet operations, or mobility transportation.</li><li>Knowledge of incident reporting and operational audits.</li><li>Technical aptitude for basic AV systems and diagnostics.</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>On-site field operations, possibly involving early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or split shifts.</li><li>Both indoor and outdoor work conditions.</li><li>Significant travel required - approximately 90% of the time across locations.</li></ul>Pay: Up to $28.00 per hourWork Location: In person
