Job Summary
The Service Manager will assist and repair the shop and the field. This role will also perform testing and modifications of new and used engines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Service Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
<ul><li>Manage shop and field technicians; schedule, quote, and invoice all service jobs in a timely manner</li><li>
Oversee all Workshop and Field activities, including all required documentation per job</li><li>
Procurement of parts and materials needed for Workshop and Field activities.</li><li>
Work directly with sales and project management team members on value-add products and modifications to new engine packages.</li><li>
Perform inspection and failure analysis of damaged engines and communicate required repairs with customers.</li><li>
Repair engines damaged by shipping and handling.</li><li>
Perform dynamometer testing of engines, as required.</li><li>
Perform engine modifications by removing and adding external engine components, as required.</li><li>
Supervise assembly and testing of value-added engine packages.</li><li>
Work directly with Material Coordinator and Material Planner on requirements for assembly projects.
</li><li>Assist with the development and continuous improvement of line layout, equipment needs, and assembly processes for value add and shop repairs.</li><li>
Maintain specialty tooling workshop and field requirements per DEUTZ AG expectations.</li><li>
Position will require the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure</li><li>

<li>Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts in an efficient manner</li>
<li>Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence</li>

<li>Knowledge of safety protocols and delivery service</li>
<li>Experience with (BI) Business Intelligence tools for metrics analysis, reporting, automation, and presentations</li></ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

<li>Experience managing a dispersed workforce in a multi-location operation</li>
<li>Law enforcement, military and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience</li>
<li>American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification</li>
<li>Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience</li>
<li>Aptitude with security systems; CCTV, Access Control, and badge administration</li>
<li>Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)</li></ul>
