This position will report to the Production Manager. Direct and manage plant floor operations with overall responsibilities for production, quality and other production related activities. This position requires that the Production Supervisor to spend a significant amount of time on the production floor. In doing so, he/she will work with direct reports to uncover opportunities for process improvement, improved downtime, reduce waste, cost reduction and quality enhancements all in a safe manner. This individual must develop, train manufacturing floor employees by mentoring developing and challenging them.

Essential Functions &amp; Key Responsibilities:

Function: Plant Management

<li>Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations.</li>

<li>Be responsible for production output, product quality, reducing waste and on time shipping.</li>
<li>Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.</li>
<li>Implement strategies in alignment with strategic Division initiatives providing a clear sense of direction and focus for production employees.</li>
<li>Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.</li>
<li>Share a trusting relationship with work group and recruit, manage and develop the plant staff. Provide leadership and drive training initiatives for all plant employees. Develop future talent by coaching and mentoring direct reports.</li>
<li>Collect and analyze data to find areas of waste or overtime and implement an improvement process.</li>
<li>Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets, quality and safety.</li>
<li>Participate in monitoring, managing and controlling expenses throughout the year.</li>
<li>Perform strategic thinking and actively participate in plant and company processes.</li>
<li>Conduct meetings with employees to communicate company goals, objectives, and intiatives.</li>

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflow, maintain quality standards, and lead a team to meet production targets while adhering to safety and operational guidelines.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in custom box manufacturing (e.g., corrugated, folding cartons, rigid boxes).</li><li>Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders according to specifications.</li><li>Manage and lead production staff, including training, performance evaluation, and shift planning.</li><li>Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer requirements.</li><li>Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.</li><li>Collaborate with design, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and order fulfillment.</li><li>Troubleshoot machinery and production issues; coordinate with maintenance when needed.</li><li>Enforce workplace safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>Maintain production records, reports, and inventory levels of raw materials.</li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, etc.).</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in custom box manufacturing or packaging industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of materials such as corrugated board, paperboard, and finishing processes (die-cutting, printing, gluing).</li><li>Familiarity with production machinery used in box manufacturing.</li><li>Excellent leadership and team management skills.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li><li>Good communication and organizational skills.</li></ul>Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
