The role of the Scribe/Physician Facilitator includes assisting his or her assigned physician with documentation of the patient encounter, helping with patient flow by watching for results, helping set up for procedures and obtaining items for the physician as needed. He/She is not directly involved in patient care. The Scribe/Physician Liaison demonstrates excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Familiar with medical terminology and basic anatomy.</li><li>
Follows the physician into patient rooms to document the encounter including the history, review of systems, and physical exam.</li><li>
Updates the patient chart to reflect any changes or corrections to the past medical history, surgical history, or social history as directed by the physician.</li><li>
Looks up information from the patient chart for the physician to review.</li><li>
Brings up x-rays or other studies for physician to review.</li><li>
Monitors all lab and imaging studies to ensure they return in a timely manner. Let&rsquo;s the physician know of any delays and follows it up to completion.</li><li>
Let&rsquo;s the physician know when all results are back, and the patient is ready for disposition.</li><li>
Obtains items for the physician as needed and helps set up for procedures but will not have any direct patient contact (will not help hold a patient, etc.).</li><li>
Obtains items for the patient as requested by the physician &ndash; like water, food, or a blanket.</li><li>
Completes the visit note in a timely manner, including importing all pertinent studies as directed by the physician. Documents procedures performed.</li><li>
Documents any discussions with consultants or family members.</li><li>
Under the direction of the physician, fill out the course of the visit, medical decision-making section, and diagnosis. Ensures completed charting is accurate, legally sound, and captures all pertinent data for reimbursement.</li><li>
Fill out discharge instructions, including prescriptions as directed by 100%</li><li>
the physician, for the physician to sign.</li><li>
Maintains active knowledge of key billing and coding practices</li></ul>
Qualifications: 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS<div>
High School diploma required.
Currently working toward an advanced degree as a physician, physician assistant, or nurse OR must have completed a scribe, medical terminology, or electronic medical record training program/course OR prior experience as a Medical Scribe.
Maintain good documentation skills based on regular QA reviews
Attending unit conferences, required competencies, in-service programs, annual mandatory education, competencies and continuing education activities to meet the organization&rsquo;s expectations.</div>

 Essential Duties And Responsibilities

 Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Arthrex Orlando is an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with surgeons and health care professionals. Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics.
 </li>

 Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio and educational programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
 </li>
 <li>
 Address any problems that arise at the account.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting noncompliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements and company policies and procedures.

 Receive coaching, training or mentoring from sales manager; transfer knowledge to peers as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits and other critical business applications.
 </li>

 Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer and competitive trends.
 </li>

 Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
 </li>

 Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.

 Minimum of 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred

 Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market

 Must be comfortable in open operating room environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology as it specifically relates to Arthrex
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior sales experience is a plus

The Foot &amp; Ankle (F&amp;A) Sales Associate will be responsible for the growth and development of the F&amp;A HCP customer base in an assigned geography. They must achieve a level of expertise and competence to present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes&rsquo; products. This person must be able to continually develop new business while supporting existing business within our F&amp;A product portfolio.
As the key champion for the product portfolio in their geography, the F&amp;A Sales Associate actively collaborates with the Regional Sales Manager to create the business plan, targeting and overall market strategy relative to F&amp;A, ensuring that financial targets are achieved within their geography.
Key Responsibilities and Focus:
<ul><li>Acquire expertise of F&amp;A portfolio, all new F&amp;A products and understand competitive product
</li><li>Spearhead the selling of F&amp;A product portfolio to new accounts and seek opportunities to increase sales with existing customers
</li><li>Educate and informs surgeons and hospital staff as to the proper use of our F&amp;A portfolio
</li><li>Establish and build clinical relationships with key surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators
</li><li>Case Coverage: Maintain appropriate surgeon/resident contact with all prospects or newly converted customers. Routinely provide support to F&amp;A surgeons/DPMs and OR personnel during surgical cases, as required.
</li><li>Perform F&amp;A field calls for the accounts and assigned territory (including F&amp;A &ldquo;on-call&rdquo; and operating/emergency room consultation) as needed
</li><li>Collaborate with Trauma partners to effectively grow and develop F&amp;A business within specific geographies
</li><li>Inventory Management: Maintain JnJ sales equipment and promotional materials in proper condition and use them to support territory efforts consistent with company policies and procedures.
</li><li>Ensure timely product delivery to surgery site
</li><li>Achieve Business Plan Objectives and sales goals/quotas through proper use of approved resources
</li><li>Complete required administrative and other duties as assigned accurately and promptly
</li><li>Accurately invoice customers for products
</li></ul>The F&amp;A Sales Associate is expected to learn, know and follow all laws, regulations, policies and procedures relative to the position and as stated in the policy and procedure manuals. The F&amp;A Consultant will maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times. Promptly communicate all legal/ethical questions or concerns to supervisor or to the Health Care Compliance and/or Legal Department.
Qualifications:
One of the following:
<ul><li>A minimum of a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited university/college OR:
</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in clinical, hospital, surgical, or related environments) OR:
</li><li>Certified Surgical Technician, or highly specialized selling / medical training or certification (e.g. Medical Sales College) plus three (3) years of relevant experience OR Recently transitioned from Active Duty Military
</li></ul>AND<ul><li>
A minimum of 1 years of selling, account management or related experience is preferred. Military experience will be considered.
</li><li>The ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
</li><li>Strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to communicate with a high level of technical acumen and in a hospital environment, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen skills.
</li><li>Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and have excellent relationship building skills.
