<div>We are seeking a Shunt Driver for our East Chicago, IN location who is safety conscious. As a key part of the team to keep things moving, you must be able to multi-task and communicate well. You will be responsible for moving trailers to load and unload within our Safety-Kleen facilities.

 <div><ul><li>HS Diploma or equivalent
</li><li>1+ years&rsquo; previous Shunt Driving/Yard Truck experience
</li><li>Plant/industrial experience preferred
</li><li>Must be able to multi-task
</li><li>Strong communication skills to work well drivers, members of supervision, and operators from various departments
</li><li>Work well under pressure

 <div><ul><li>Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
</li><li>Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the facility for loading, unloading, and or cleaning
</li><li>Scale full and empty trailers to determine gallons loaded or unloaded
</li><li>Review shipping and receiving paperwork for product to be loaded
</li><li>Performs trailer inspections to comply with requirements of the Federal Railroad D.O.T. prior to loading, unloading and/or offering for transport
</li><li>Works closely with transportation, the Lab, and bulk carriers to ensure products are shipped on time and in specification. Assist in assignment of trailers for cleaning, and loading</li></ul></div>
