<p><b>**MUST HAVE DISPATCH EXPERIENCE **</b></p><p>Dispatch busses and vans for the Shuttle Service Program at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. Sioux Falls Shuttle Driver Overview</b></p><p>
Pull two empty trailers from our Sioux Falls depot to the Fargo warehouse, move con gear to drop off and pick up two full trailers, and pull the two full trailers back to Fargo. This is a great evening route for anyone looking for a drop and hook driving position. Drivers work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, so you have the weekend to yourself! General start time is approximately 6pm. While you may be hired with the intent for you to be a shuttle driver, based on seniority or need there is the possibility that you will move to a route driving position.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Sioux Falls Route Driver Overview:
</b></p><p>Starts/ends daily in Sioux Falls. The route will start in the early morning hours (generally around 4am) and end early to mid-afternoon. The end time varies by day as some days are bigger order days than others, and most drivers average of 45-55 hours per week. Route drivers start the morning picking up the packed trailer and follow the delivery route given. At each stop, there will be some building of the loads to take in to the customer which requires attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets, working with the customer on where to place their products, getting required signatures, and developing relationships with these repeat customers.</p><p><br>
Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
Accurately, safely, and efficiently deliver merchandise using hand-trucks, ramps and/or lift gates to customers on a predetermined delivery route. May include delivering products up and down stairs and in all types of weather.</li><li>
Operate all working equipment safely and efficiently, including but not limited to hand truck, pallet jack, scanner and printer.</li><li>
Provide the highest level of service and product integrity for every customer by safe and timely delivery of customer orders.</li><li>
Deliver and stack merchandise on customer premises.</li><li>
Accurately record delivery by verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures at the time of delivery.</li><li>
Practice Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines to reduce risks for crashes, injuries and fatalities.</li><li>
Utilize onboard computer to appropriately record mileage, hours of service and maintain driver log to adhere to state and federal Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.</li><li>
Complete comprehensive pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and DVIRs.</li><li>
Maintain legal weight limits and distributions.</li><li>

Position Purpose:</b></h2></div><div><p>
The Shred-it Route Driver is responsible for providing industry-leading levels of service to clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials, safely and in accordance with company policy and all local and federal laws. This involves loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Job Activities:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information</li><li>Performs pre/post-trip checks, and driver check-in on the assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day.</li><li>Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up.</li><li>Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner in an effort to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage.</li><li>Complies with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service.</li><li>Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable.</li><li>Maintains a high level of security when emptying consoles and/or collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and the consoles/containers are securely locked.</li><li>Services accounts using a hand-held device, ensuring console/containers are barcoded, locations are up to date, and the accuracy of type and quantity of consoles/containers.</li><li>Manages assigned routes ensuring customers&rsquo; confidential material is collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Handles and responds to all customer problems and inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Shred-it.</li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>

Experience:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>3+ years of experience, preferably in driving shred/box trucks and route management.</li><li>Current driver&rsquo;s license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.</li><li>May require mandatory immunizations and credentials based on customer requirements.</li><li>Stericycle welcomes non-native English speakers, as long as drivers can read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records as required by federal regulation.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
