<div>We are seeking a traveling Site Superintendent to join our federal team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the installation of metering systems for buildings on U.S. military and other federal government sites. The first project site that this role will support is the Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX for around one year (military experience is not required) . Future project sites will be U.S. military or other federal government project sites that are to be determined and could be anywhere in the United States, and potentially some global sites (but no designated war zone countries). All travel related expenses and local housing is provided (if not already local to the area). This will be explained further during the interview process.

Location: Can be based anywhere in the United States with the ability to travel extensively. This role supports long-term assignments. Travel is around 90%.
 
Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 base salary plus per diem when traveling. Negotiable based on experience.

Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year. (6.5 weeks of paid time off in total throughout the year) 


As a Superintendent, you will: 
<ul>
<li>Supervise the field construction process of assigned projects in accordance with the plans and specifications, to ensure that each phase of the work is completed on schedule, within the budget, and with the quality workmanship expected by the company and the customer</li>
<li>Supervises, inspects, reviews, records and reports on all site construction related activity ensuring that the assigned subcontractors perform their work on schedule.</li>
<li>Understand and develop means and methods for the construction/installation requirements of the particular project (in conjunction with Project Manager).</li>
<li>Supervise and coordinate activities of all employees and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Assist with quality control functions per contract (COE) requirements (submittal reviews, daily reports, preparatory meetings and other quality control program features) to ensure project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements.</li>
<li>Enforce, facilitate and follow Company and contract safety requirements. Assist with SSHO functions per company standard practices and per contract requirements.</li>
<li>Schedule and plan work tasks, monitor progress of work with schedule updates (in conjunction with Project Manager)</li>
<li>Coordinate inspections, verifications, tests, and other contractual requirements with client.</li>
<li>Participate in regular project/site meetings with subcontractors, architects, engineers, client representatives and other groups.</li>
<li>Direct and coordinate subcontractor activities.</li>
<li>Is the primary management team member on the site on a day-to-day basis to identify and correct issues or deficiencies and/or escalate issues and deficiencies up the management chain to Project Manager and/or regional management.</li>

Required Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Project coordination and supervision experience with construction projects in the commercial and/or industrial building construction industry. 5+ years preferred</li>
<li>Experience overseeing electrical trades teams in the construction industry.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and/or engineering drawings</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills for employee supervision and client interface.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and basic Windows environment</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain military base accesses required for assigned projects (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.)</li>
<li>Ability to travel up to 90%</li></ul>

Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements:
<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.</li><li>
At least 2 years in a hands-on, supervisory, or leadership role on a construction site.</li><li>
Proven history of working on a variety of commercial and/or residential construction projects from start to finish.</li><li>
Solid ability to read, maintain, and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.</li><li>
Valid U.S. Driver&rsquo;s License with an acceptable driving record.</li><li>
OSHA Certification (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour).</li><li>
Strong ability to coordinate schedules, subcontractors, equipment, and resources.</li><li>
Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines.</li><li>
Must be able to perform the physical demands of an active construction site, including standing/walking for extended periods, lifting up to 45 lbs, and working in various outdoor weather conditions on uneven terrain.</li><li>

Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Or completion of a relevant Trade School program or equivalent technical training.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with project management software such as Procore, BuilderTrend, or Microsoft Project.</li><li>
Strong applied mathematical skills, including geometry, trigonometry, and financial math for budgeting and cost estimation.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in pre-construction planning or project estimating.</li><li>
Advanced conflict resolution and client relations skills.</li><li>
LEED GA or other sustainability-related certifications.</li><li>
Experience in a specific project type highly relevant to the company&rsquo;s core portfolio (e.g., multi-family hospitality, high-end residential, etc.).</li></ul>

Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Lead Jobsite Safety &amp; Compliance &ndash; Enforce OSHA standards, conduct daily safety inspections, control subcontractor safety, maintain housekeeping, and stop unsafe work.</li><li>
Manage Field Operations &amp; Schedule &ndash; Execute the CPM schedule, run on-site meetings and pull planning sessions, coordinate daily workflow, and prevent trade stacking.</li><li>
Coordinate Trades &amp; Site Activities &ndash; Oversee site logistics, material deliveries, site access, subcontractor coordination, and daily field communication.</li><li>
Ensure Quality Control &ndash; Inspect work for compliance with plans and specs, manage inspections/testing, and drive punch list completion.</li><li>
Maintain Documentation &amp; Closeout &ndash; Complete daily reports, track as-builts, document delays/issues, assist with RFIs, and lead field closeout and turnover activities.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>
Proven track record of managing projects in the healthcare, education, or law enforcement, etc. sector.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.</li><li>
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
5+ years of construction supervision experience preferred.</li><li>
Degree in construction management or related field is a plus but not required.</li><li>
Equivalent field experience considered.</li></ul>
