The Comforted Kitty is contracting with independent cat sitters in the Salt Lake City metro area. This is a 1099 independent contractor role (not W-2). You choose your availability and service area; we match you with clients based on fit and demand.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You&rsquo;ll Do</h2><ul><li>
Provide in-home cat sitting for drop-ins, extended daytime visits, overnight stays, or house sitting (subject to your availability)</li><li>
Follow client instructions precisely: food, water, litter, enrichment 
</li><li>
Support meds when applicable (based on your skill level and comfort) 
</li><li>
Keep the home tidy + handle small tasks (mail, plants, trash) 
</li><li>
Send updates after each visit (notes + photos) via our app

Service Types</h2><ul><li>
Drop-in visits: 30 / 45 / 60 minutes (1&ndash;3x daily) 
</li><li>
Overnights: 10-hour stays in the client&rsquo;s home 
</li><li>
24-hour live-in care: overnight + staying in client&rsquo;s home most of daytime

Schedule (Flexible, With Standards)</h2>
Client visit windows typically include:<ul><li>
Morning (6a&ndash;12p)</li><li>
Afternoon (12p&ndash;5p)</li><li>
Evening (5p&ndash;10p)</li><li>
Overnights (10 hours)</li><li>
Live-in (24 hours)</li></ul> 
You choose your availability. If you accept a booking, you must show up on time and complete every update.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Requirements (Read Carefully &mdash; Screening)</h2>
Must have:<ul><li>
18+ and cat care experience (professional not required, but real experience is) 
</li><li>
A smartphone with reliable internet + camera (updates are required) 
</li><li>
Ability to pass a background check and provide references 
</li><li>
Strong written communication and responsiveness 
</li><li>
Professionalism entering and working in clients&rsquo; homes</li></ul> 
Strongly preferred:<ul><li>
Medication experience (oral meds, injections, fluids) and/or Pet First Aid/CPR 
</li><li>
Availability during peak times (especially winter holidays)
