The Small Engine Mobile Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing all small engine equipment across multiple branches, including handheld equipment and commercial mowing units. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring all equipment is operating safely and at peak performance. 
This is a mobile position requiring travel between the Milford, Millsboro, and Selbyville locations, as well as emergency on-site field or road support as needed. 
Key Responsibilities 
Equipment Maintenance &amp; Repair<ul><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair small engine equipment including:</li></ul>
o Husqvarna handheld equipment (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc.)
o Walker mowers
o Wright Manufacturing mowers
o Buyers Snow Equipment<ul><li>Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment (oil changes, blade sharpening, air filters, belts, etc.)</li><li>Execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and keep crews operational</li><li>Maintain detailed service records for all equipment</li><li>Help assist team with snow operations and equipment repair prior to, during and post snow</li></ul>
Mobile Operations<ul><li>Travel between branch locations (Milford, Millsboro, Selbyville) on a regular schedule</li><li>Provide on-site repairs in the field when necessary</li><li>Prioritize repairs based on operational needs and urgency</li></ul>
Transportation &amp; Logistics<ul><li>Safely transport equipment between branches and job sites</li><li>Operate company vehicles and trailers, including loading and unloading equipment</li><li>Ensure all equipment is secured properly during transport</li></ul>
Inventory &amp; Shop Organization<ul><li>Maintain organized mobile service vehicle and/or shop areas</li><li>Track parts, tools, and inventory levels</li><li>Coordinate ordering of parts and supplies as needed</li></ul>
Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Follow all company safety protocols and procedures</li><li>Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li><li>Leads by example with safety, uniforms and assist with safety talks</li></ul>

Required Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years experience in small engine repair (landscape industry preferred)</li><li>Strong working knowledge of:</li><li>Husqvarna equipment</li><li>Walker Mowers</li><li>Wright Manufacturing Mowers</li><li>Ability to diagnose mechanical issues efficiently and accurately</li><li>Valid drivers license with clean driving record</li><li>Experience towing and maneuvering trailers (required)</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency</li></ul>
