Compensation Details:

You'll make decisions and craft the vision for a brand's overall approach and daily execution on social platforms, in addition to helping to grow and evolve the social capability at VML. You have a very strong ability to effectively communicate, influence and interact with clients and have a successful track record of managing large-scale, complex social media initiatives for enterprise clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Develop and oversee the creation of social strategies, social playbooks, activations and campaign ideas as part of an awesome North American client team.</li>
<li>Direct and synthesize research, social listening and other data to guide a brand's strategic decisions</li>
<li>Partner with creative, strategy, data and media teams to define and achieve a brand's social marketing goals</li>
<li>Supervise and guide the development of junior team members</li>
<li>Plan, execute and oversee social media campaigns, including user-generated content (UGC), influencer / creator programs and real-time activations</li>
<li>Identify and surface insights from the community behaviors, mentions and 1:1 interactions relevant to the brand</li>
<li>Commitment to driving agency growth through proactive business development and the strategic positioning of our services</li>
</ul>
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
<ul>
<li>8+ years of social marketing experience</li>
<li>Experience coaching and developing one or more direct reports</li>
<li>Advanced understanding of social platforms, audiences and behaviors, and the ability to make sound decisions based on that knowledge</li>
<li>Ability to apply knowledge of social media to effectively solve a wide variety of client challenges</li>
<li>Strong communication and presentation skills in a wide variety of formats and settings</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively across organizations, departments, teams and individuals</li>
