Job Description:</b></div>
<p>
Support development, testing, and customer use of Lumotive LiDAR systems through Python scripting, API-level integration, and data analysis. This role works at the interface of software, hardware, and customer applications.</p>

Responsibilities:</b></h3><div>
<ul><li>Develop Python scripts and tools for LiDAR testing and automation and data capture and processing</li>
<li>Work with LiDAR APIs and GUIs to configure sensors and run experiments and test scenarios</li>
<li>Analyze point cloud and sensor data for basic visualization and identifying issues and anomalies</li>
<li>Support customer use of dev kits including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting</li>
<li>Assist in building and maintaining test scripts and workflows as well as datasets for evaluation and demos</li>
<li>Interface with test stations and lab equipment and basic automation setups</li>
<li>Collaborate with systems and applications engineers on debugging issues and validating system behavior</li>

<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Electrical, Computer Science or related field</li>
<li>0&ndash;3 years of experience in software engineering or related field</li>

<li>Basic understanding of API&rsquo;s and software interaction as well as data structures and debugging</li>
<li>Comfortable working close to hardware (not purely backend/software role)</li>
<li>Exposure to LiDAR / 3D sensing / robotics and ROS or point cloud tools (e.g., Open3D, PCL) is preferred</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of C / embedded C and Linux environments is preferred</li>

We focus on the interaction between server hardware and Ubuntu Linux, so the ideal candidate has software development experience and a good understanding of configuring and troubleshooting server hardware running Linux.
