The Software Developer in Test (SDET) II is responsible for contributing to and improving the quality assurance process at Gesa Credit Union by designing, building, and maintaining automated tests and performing functional/manual testing as needed. The SDET II works closely with developers, Product Owners, and delivery leaders to create test plans, expand automated regression coverage, and validate changes across UI, API, and integration layers. This role operates with increasing independence, helps stabilize and improve test execution in CI, and contributes to team-level quality practices while continuing to grow technical depth in test automation, API testing, and quality engineering.

Work with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Developers to develop automated and custom test plans for software applications, including defining acceptance validation and regression scope</li><li>
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests in alignment with Gesa&rsquo;s coding standards and established test patterns; expand coverage for new features and critical member workflows</li><li>
Develop and write tests for custom WEB APIs and integrated services to validate functional behavior (REST/SOAP)</li><li>

This role will focus on driving, validating, and delivering test solutions. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop critically important test solutions that directly impact the quality of our consumer facing applications. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, writing, maintaining and performing end-end test cases (manual and automation). You will drive all aspects of quality and process improvements to help the team ensure that our features are rock-solid and ready to be released to our customers. Reporting bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques will be the key to your success. This role also requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. You will not only dive deep into solving complex problems, but you will also work closely with partners in various disciplines across the company. 
 
Preferred Qualifications 
 
1+ years of experience in Automation. 
 
Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript. 
 
Experience in Swift/SwiftUI or Objective-C development in test skills.

Pay &amp; Benefits 
 
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
