This position is an in person role (5x per week onsite) that will be based at our San Leandro PV module lab then transition around September 2026 to our headquarters in Fremont, California.
Nextpower seeks a detailed-oriented and energetic PV Lab Technician to join our Advanced Module Frames team to support the testing, characterization, and advancement of solar technologies. The PV Lab Technician will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory analytical instrumentation and solar testing equipment. You will perform routine and non-routine testing on PV modules, cells, and materials, ensuring all data is accurate and documented according to company SOPs and ISO standards.
Here is a glimpse of what you&rsquo;ll do:
<ul><li>Testing &amp; Analysis: Perform electrical and optical testing on solar cells and modules (e.g., I-V curves, Visual Inspection, Electroluminescence).
</li></ul><ul><li>Equipment Maintenance: Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including EL imager, pneumatic module tester, etc.

About the Role</h4>
We are looking for a Renewable Energy PV Project Manager &ndash; KSA to support the delivery of commercial and industrial solar PV projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Experience with BESS or hybrid energy projects would be a strong advantage.
This is a hands-on project delivery role focused on the site-based execution of solar PV projects from mobilisation, EPC and subcontractor coordination, progress tracking, and project controls through to quality inspections, commissioning, documentation, and handover.
Working under the direction of the Senior Project Manager, you will act as YDE&rsquo;s on-site representative, ensuring EPC contractors deliver safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with YDE&rsquo;s technical, contractual, HSE, and quality standards.
This role is best suited to a project professional with strong solar PV construction experience, practical engineering knowledge, and the discipline to manage daily site execution, contractor performance, project controls, variations, and reporting in a fast-moving, site-based environment.<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">

In this role, you will support the successful delivery of commercial and industrial solar PV projects across KSA, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to YDE&rsquo;s technical and quality standards.

Drive day-to-day site execution, EPC and subcontractor coordination, progress tracking, and issue resolution.</li><li>
