 Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software system. Call guests to confirm scheduled services. Answer questions about available services. Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of last-minute changes, and resolve scheduling issues as needed by working with supervisor/manager. Check in guests for appointments, confirm first and last name, and provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival. Promote and sell spa/salon services. Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtain change required for expected business level, and keep bank secure at all times. Process guest payments for spa/salon services and obtain payment authorization as needed. Accept and log cash tips for employees. Balance, scan, and drop receipts with Accounting. Notify Engineering of maintenance and repair needs.
 
 
 Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests&rsquo; service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. What you will do
<ul><li>Welcome, assist and escort guests/clients as it pertains to the spa, fitness and other areas within the hotel (inclusive of outdoor pool).
</li><li>Read and update the daily log and communicate relevant information to the staff.
</li><li>Advising and educating guest of Spa treatment and produce options to suit their needs via telephone, email and in person.
</li><li>Ensure the reception area is kept neat, tidy and organized.
</li><li>Be knowledgeable about treatments, products, procedures, techniques, training sessions and equipment when selling to hotel and external guests alike.
</li><li>Reach upsell target as set forth separately.
</li><li>Operate the computer, copier, Spa reservations system and credit card machines.
</li><li>Utilize the trace file, cashier sheets and handle the daily accounting.
</li><li>Verify the attendant staff is present.

The Spa Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for booking treatments via phone and email, welcoming guests, giving spa tours, selling retail items, upselling spa treatments, and opening or closing the spa. Coordinators will also provide effective guest service by maintaining commons areas of the spa including the locker rooms, reception area, and guest waiting areas.

Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Maintain the areas in a spotless condition and maintain the common areas of the spa in between appointments.</li><li>
Knowledge of all aspects of the treatments and the ability to recommend and suggestive selling.</li><li>
Process spa reservations, billing and meet and greet all guests as they arrive and depart from their treatments.</li><li>
Support all aspects of retail: Guest assistance, product display, product inventory, suggestive selling, and merchandising.</li><li>
Reconcile all discrepancies for retail and treatments with guests or advise a Manager.</li><li>
Handle guest complaints or problem immediately, ensuring guest satisfaction. Communicate all the above to management to ensure communication to all necessary departments.</li><li>
Use good judgment and maintain discretion and diplomacy while performing job duties.</li><li>
Participate in all designated programs, meetings and training.</li><li>
Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all resort and departmental policies and procedures</li><li>
Review arrivals prior to approaching desk and be familiar with all Hotel guests, special requirements and potential problems.</li><li>
