 Plans and implements developmentally appropriate lessons and activities and incorporates individualization for all students while ensuring that all plans align with the preschool curriculum and Ohio content standards

 Implements effective classroom management procedures that are developmentally appropriate to preschool aged children. Uses the Conscious Discipline and PBIS behavioral supports

 Collaborates with other teachers and shares knowledge and resources that enhance the educational process and benefit student learning

 Uses strong communication skills in verbal, written, and nonverbal communication
 </li>
 <li>
 Participates in the preschool evaluation process to help identify children who may have special needs and prepares evaluation team reports (ETR)

 Helps prepare and implement Section 504 and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for classroom students meeting eligibility requirements.

 Supports an inclusive educational environment. 50% are typically developing and 50% have special needs requiring interventions

 Works collaboratively with preschool staff to provide a multidisciplinary team approach (including teaching assistant and all therapists such as speech, OT, PT, APE,etc.)

 Uses appropriate technology in instructional and records management activities and is comfortable with learning and using a variety of technology

 Administers standardized and observation based assessments and follows test security procedures.
